About this listing

The space

Hi

First of all - the above pictures only give an impression of the space. I'm trying to get airbnb out take some new pictures, but I might have to take some with my phone instead. The apartment is a lot more cozy because I live here. You can get a feel of the apartment in the description below and by reading the reviews. It's not an apartment only for airbnb, and I only rent it out when I'm travelling out of town. So expect a home and not a hotel :-)

This light and cozy 3-room 67 m2 apartment is situated in the trendy Vesterbro area within 5 minutes walk to Copenhagen Central Station, the city lakes, the waterfront or Tivoli.

Across the street you find the "meatpacking district" one of Copenhagen's most popular cultural venues with galleries, restaurants, and nightlife.

Close by you can find shopping, ATM, pharmacies and 24-hour kiosks.

The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a living room and an office/lounge. The living room has a daybed, and the apartment has an extra air mattress enabling it to accommodate four persons. It's perfect for a family of four, or two couples. There is a nice small bathroom with a shower as well as a nice kitchen with a freezer and a large fridge.

Free Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, clean bed-linen.

The apartment has just been renovated, so new photos will be uploaded soon.

Please contact me for any questions, suggestions or comments you might have.

Regards

No-smoking in the apartment, feel free to use kitchen, and whatever is in it (Olive oil, spices etc..)

The floor has just been redone - so please take extra care if you spill anything etc... The proper cleaning oil can be found in the apartment, so just clean any stains straightaway, and there shouldn't be any problems.

Please do not dye your hair while staying in the apartment. I recently had a visitor dyeing her hair pink, and I've spent months trying to get rid of the stains - if possible leave that for the hairdresser :-)

Don't make to much noise after 10 pm during weekdays and after midnight at the weekends.

The courtyard that accompanies the apartment is free to use, as well as chairs, grills in it.

Thomas is very friendly host, and the location is very good. Although the toilet is small, but besides that, everything is perfect. The arpartment is calm during the night, and his kitchen is well equipped for cooking!

The apartment itself is wonderfully typical of traditional Danish minimalism. You are surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants - so much so that in five days, I rarely found the need to leave this street. There are great BBQ, burger, and Thai restaurants, all within a few minutes walk, as well as a local grocery store. If you are looking for a stay in CPH, you cannot do better than this. The German themed punk rock bar next door is also definitely worth a visit! The brewery across the street is also worth seeing. Logistically speaking, it's ten or so minutes walk from the central train station and Tivoli. When I return next I hope this place is still on the market.

Great apartment on a great location for enjoying Copenhagen visit. Great location for walking and also close to central station. Not noisy. Great for 3 people, fourth one can also be accommodated but with less confort. Kitchen and rooms well equipped. Bathroom requires and extra cleaning and blankets deserves a refresh

Response from Thomas:
The day before Miguel arrived I found a metal object in my washing machine, which left very few residue marks on the sheets, which I had just washed. I had this fixed immediately, but because it's a home and not a hotel these things happen - and as I explained upon arrival the sheets were still newly washed. As in all Copenhagen apartments, the high level of kalcium in the water also gives some kalcium marks on the bathroom walls which will be found in most homes in Copenhagen.

Terrific apartment with a real sense of Dankse Design. Minimal, comfy and very clean. Certainly everything we'd hoped for with a few days visiting Copenhagen for the first time. Also some excellent literature dotted around the library! The Vesterbro area, where the apartment is situated, is a great location. Easy walking distance and access to any transport if you do feel the need. Being so near the train station was a plus for us as members of the group came and went at different times, and it's a simple train ride to and from the airport. Great (REALLY great!) restaurants in the area, convenient grocery shop literally across the road, all of which Thomas kindly pointed out in his Emails.

This is a very nice apartment right next to Über hipster Kødbyen. Restaurants and nightlife at your doorstep. Thomas is great, I can't recommend this enough. Go for it :)

Cozy apartment, Thomas is nice! 5-10 mins walking distance to central train station. Many restaurants located around our apartment n supermarket is just at the opposite side. Easy to walk to many attractions, city hall, museum, tivoli (unfortunately it would only reopen in apr). I recommend to stay at Thomas bnb.

Hi! My name is Thomas!

I'm a political consultant living on my own in the best part of Copenhagen - Vesterbro. I've been living here for almost ten years and I've seen my neighborhood evolve to something better every year. I do travel a lot, so please feel free to contact my about my apartment.

Regards

And BTW - I love Arsenal FC, so every opportunity of travelling to London for a game is taken.
