About This Listing
The apartment has 4 rooms, with one bedroom (one double bed) but with also a sofa-bed (double) in the adjacent livingroom. There is one terrasse in the back and a small balcony on the street side. The location is quite ideal: 5 minutes away by foot are all the services one needs: 2 drugstores, a supermarket, two fruit and vegetable stores, a renowned butcher amongst many more stores and restaurants on one of Montreal's most pleasant streets, Mont-Royal. Closeby is also the Lafontaine Park (5 minutes away by foot) where you can walk, jog or have a picnic by the pond. Furthermore, a BIXI stand is just a block away from the apartment, allowing you to discover more of Montreal in a faster way while enjoying the warm summer weather. There are two bus lines that pass right in front of the apartment while three other lines are just a 5 minute walk away (all of which bring you to a metro station within less than 10 minutes). For those who have a car, parking is easily available on the street in front.
The apartment is smoke-free and pets are not permitted. Guests should not bring visitors during their stay.
Jennifer was an awesome host! She greeted us upon our stay and was great in walking us through her apartment and even had a prepared list of restaurants, bus information, and places to visit. Her place was also perfect - clean, great location, close to public transit, parks, and some of the best restaurants! Her 2 patios were just great for relaxing. Had a fantastic time and was a pleasure meeting Jennifer! Would definitely come back and stay here again if I'm ever in Montreal.
I had a very nice stay at Jennifer's apartment in Montreal. Jennifer was a great host and very helpful with suggestions of local eateries. The apartment itself is cute, spacious, and well-kept. The location is fantastic, and just two blocks Avenue du Mount Royal which has tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Would definitely return!
About the Host, Jennifer
I love to travel and/or live abroad and do so as much as my work and finances allow me to. Meeting people from other countries is what I enjoy the most alongside learning their customs, their history and their culture. Since I've always liked hosting for dinner parties or cocktail parties, I think that having guests stay at my place is just bringing it a step further mixing my joy of meeting new people with hosting.
