  • I stayed with Lisa for just one night. Her house is immaculate and has a lot of character. It is in a quiet road but only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ripon. Communications were good regarding arrival time and Alan was kind enough to get up early on Sunday morning to get me breakfast. A really nice stay with lovely, friendly people.

I hope the marathon went well, Ruth.

  • This was a lovely place to stay and Lisa was a great host. They made us fantastic breakfasts and the house was really beautiful. We particularly enjoyed all her paintings and the location was close for walking into Ripon. They were really helpful for the duration of our stay, offering advice on how to get to places and even an umbrella when the weather caught us out! If we were back in the area then we would definitely choose to stay here again to explore more of Yorkshire.

    Response from Lisa:

Hi Shachar, Hope Edinburgh was enjoyable and that you and your parents enjoyed the rest of your holiday in Britain.

  • Lisa's home was the nicest and cleanest place we stayed on our two-week vacation. Breakfast was sensational as well. My only regret was that we couldn't have visited longer! I will definitely recommend Lisa to anyone staying in North Yorkshire.

    Response from Lisa:

Thanks Fran, I hope the weather was not too awful when you visited Fountains Abbey and that you saw lots of deer.

  • We cannot recommend Lisa enough for the quality of her home, personality and company. The room was fantastic as was every aspect of our stay including the delicious breakfast we enjoyed outside in the sunshine. Do not think twice this is an excellent location, superb friendly atmosphere; we will definitely return without hesitation when next in the area. Thanks again Lisa :-)
