A spacious, charming and cosy fisherman's cottage in the heart of old Staithes. Close to the sea , beach, and the famous Cod & Lobster pub. With ample room for relaxing after a day of exploring - it’s the perfect space to relax and unwind.
There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 , including a generous master on the 1st floor, a large double and twin bedded room on the 2nd floor. With a newly refurbished house bathroom and spacious kitchen the cottage is perfect for couples and families.

The space
Church View is one of the most spacious and characterful cottages in Staithes. It's warm, cosy and beautifully presented having been recently modernised. The owners cherish their cottage and it shows in the homely and decorative details you'll find. It gets the morning sun and the little bench outside makes the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa.

Guest access
Church View is perfectly located just off the harbour - it's 2 mins to the beach and the Cod and Lobster pub. Parking is provided at the top of the village which means the main street is pretty safe for pedestrians. There are several pubs, tea shops, a great deli and sweet shop as well as a couple of convenience stores. The gallery is run by a local artist and the museum is worth a visit.

Other things to note
Your stay comes with a free parking permit for one car in the council car park at the top of staithes village. This will save you £6 per day. You can park on the harbour side to unload , and collect your permit from the cottage. Please ensure that you return the permit before you leave or you will be asked to cover the parking of the next guest until it is returned. Parking is free from October to March so you wont need the permit during these times.
