It is centrally located and a few steps from Saint Peter (1 minute), Trastevere (1 minute), Angel’s Castle (3 minutes), and all Rome most famous sightseeing points. It is on the 1st floor of an ancient building, belonging to the 1600's and situated just on the banks of the river Tiber, with its typical hundred-year old trees. Recommended for those who want to stay in a comfortable place and discover Rome on foot.
It is fully-equipped and it is divided in 1 spacious living room with 1 sofa, 1 kitchen , 1 double/twin room with private bathroom and 1 double room with private bathroom. The apartment has been recently renovated and re-furnished but keeps typical wooden traves on the ceiling and has double-glazed units (very important in Rome!). There is no elevator (1st floor).
The BB has the WI-FI, air-con (speed ceiling fans in each room), hair-dryer, flat TV in each room, cotton towels and bed linens.

At footsteps from the main door you can find a supermarket, banks, tobacconist, cafeterias, restaurants, gelato shops and in the nearby area of Trastevere you can experience the real Roman daily life and have amazing food! In the nearby you can also visit Campo de’ Fiori where you can enjoy the typical open-air market where Italians like to buy fresh food, fruits and vegetables every day.
The location is central to almost anything in Rome. Bus and taxi service is easy to access but we walked almost everywhere. I was disappointed the host was out of town during our visit and breakfast was only toast and cereal that was left for us. We had hoped to interact with the host to get questions answered and recommendations. We found a book that had some written down and used that. Internet was completely unreliable, very slow when it did work. The room was adequate, bed was comfortable, and A/C worked well.
Our stay in Rome was absolutely great. Silvia welcomed us very lovely with a sweet cake and a city map and gave us good tips for it was our first(but not last) trip to Rome. Her home was very cosy with an airconditioning in the bedroom and that was good because outside it was 28C. Its location was perfectly inbetween the vatican and the citycentre and we walked a lot in the 4 days we stayed. The only thing was, if you're not used to noise while sleeping (the bedroom was at the front to the street), take earplugs with you. Thank you Silvia for getting us a home in Rome.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
