I'm SIlvia and my tasteful, bright and brand new B&B is just waiting for you!
It is centrally located and a few steps from Saint Peter (1 minute), Trastevere (1 minute), Angel’s Castle (3 minutes), and all Rome most famous sightseeing points. It is on the 1st floor of an ancient building, belonging to the 1600's and situated just on the banks of the river Tiber, with its typical hundred-year old trees. Recommended for those who want to stay in a comfortable place and discover Rome on foot.
It is fully-equipped and it is divided in 1 spacious living room with 1 sofa, 1 kitchen , 1 double/twin room with private bathroom and 1 double room with private bathroom. The apartment has been recently renovated and re-furnished but keeps typical wooden traves on the ceiling and has double-glazed units (very important in Rome!). Upon request, you can cook and eat your own meals thanks to the fully-equipped kitchen with many cooking basics, new top appliances and a dish washer! There is a dining table with 6 chairs.
There is no elevator (1st floor).
The BB has the WI-FI, air-con (speed ceiling fans in each room), hair-dryer, flat TV in each room, cotton towels and bed linens.
Breakfast is served in the dining room: you should taste our cakes and delicious Italian coffee!
At footsteps from the main door you can find a supermarket, banks, tobacconist, cafeterias, restaurants, gelato shops and in the nearby area of Trastevere you can experience the real Roman daily life and have amazing food! In the nearby you can also visit Campo de’ Fiori where you can enjoy the typical open-air market where Italians like to buy fresh food, fruits and vegetables every day. We had the best time in Rome and just loved the Brightside as it was so comfortable and so nice to come home to. As like all the reviews everything was just great. Sylvia is just an amazing person and it felt like you never wanted to leave. Will be reccomending the place to my friends when they come to Rome.
Thanks for the awesome cakes and little present of cookies to take with us, they have all gone onto our waistline to go with all the pasta and pizza we ate ......... lol.
Silvia was great! There when I arrived, very accommodating, willing to go the extra distance, quick to point out where to go and what to eat in Rome.
The apartment, location and neighbourhood are also fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a grew stay in Rome.

We had a great time in Rome. Silvia's place is perfecly located in a walking distance from the Vatican (5 minutes), city Centre (just corss the bridge), Castel Sant'Angelo (less than 10 minutes), Trastevere district (10-15 minutes). Rooms are spaciuos and the apartment is equipped with anything a visitor may need, icluding coffee :) Silvia is a great host, helpful and willing to advise on food and places to visit. Thank you Silvia, we'll be definitely coming back!
My wife and I made a last-minute trip to Rome and Silva was great! The directions from the bus station to her place were spot on and easy to follow. She had a work engagement that took her away and we actually never got to meet but she had it completely covered and never missed a beat. Like the title says, it truly is a great place and a great location.
very good located to do all sights, but sleeping-rooms are facing a main road ...
Room was clean and large enough for Rome. As other reviewers have stated the road noise can be a bit loud. I made sure to bring earplugs (I'm use to sleeping in the quiet). There is nothing Silvia can do about this. The B&B is a prime location and as they say in Realistate "Location, Location, Location" which this has plenty of.
My very first airbnb experience was so goooood! Silvia is a heart warming host. I tried thier chocolate cake, it tasted amazing! The room is cozy and clean for sure. Had great time in Rome!
Great location with nice character, very welcoming, comfortable and clean. Being on my own for a couple of days in Rome before a long flight home....my room was lovely and the area felt safe to venture out to eat at night to eat at a restaurant that Silvia recommended where to food was delicious.., Silvia was extremely helpful... great instructions for train & bus to get to B&B Trastevere... and Silvia even organized a car to pick me up to take to the airport. Total recommend.
Silvia is an excellent hostess. During our stay, she was very helpful in arranging transportation and in providing useful information which reduced wasted time. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location couldn't be better although traffic noise could be a problem for some.Overall a very good experience.
Silvia's apartments is truly very central and so close to Vatican, any closer would require us to wear black robes with white collars. As a matter of fact from the apartment one can walk to the greatest spots or antiquities of the city. It is bright and colorful, with tile floor and wooden beams on the ceiling. Great view out to the bustling street, gorgeous trees and bridge over Tiber. The air-conditioner was a most welcomed treat, after a long days walk under the hot Roman sun.
Most importantly, Silvia is a great host, this multitasking, ever smiling ball of fire, is full of ideas and recommendations to fit any needs and budgets. She makes you feel like you are staying with a friend who truly cares that you are going to have a good time. She planned and arranged for a trip with private driver to the surrounding hills of Rome, the famous Castelli Romani territory, full of fantastic views, great food and wine. I must mention that when we realized that we had left back home our medication, Silvia received and personally delivered the FedEx package to us. A nice touch of someone who cares.
Thank you for that Silvia and for the nice muffins and cakes to go along with the morning coffee and tea. We had two unforgettable weeks in Rome and my wife and I are very happy to have met you.
