Killington, Vermont is a beautiful mountain town. In the winter, there is the best skiing and riding on the east coast. In the spring and summer, there are tons of outdoor activities. In the fall, you have amazing fall foliage.
We love our location! We're just off the main Killington Access road which means you're close to everything - bars, restaurants, shops and less than 2 miles to the mountain. We're also less than 10 minutes to both the Killington golf course and Green Mountain National golf course, plus hiking, swimming, antiquing and much more.
While we recommend having a car in Killington and have ample parking space, the Killington Bus is about a half mile from the house and can take you to the mountain as well as to the city of Rutland.
There are also numerous taxi and shuttle services in the area. In fact, the bars run their own free shuttles which we strongly recommend taking if you plan to go out drinking.

We've been coming to Killington for many years and The Cabin is a great house that is very centrally located to the base lodges and access road restaurants and shops. The house amenities are great, including a very nice hot tub, wood burning stove, entertainment system, games and gas grill. Dave is an excellent host and we would 100% rent from him again!
very enjoyable stay - exactly as described. Plenty of room, close to the mountain, great hot tub, quiet property and attentive host! Would definitely stay here again.
The listing was pretty accurate. Overall the place was very nice and I would definitely come back. There was plenty of firewood outside, and the hot tub was hot and ready to go. The lights in the hot tub were very cool. The heating was so so, but it's Vermont in the dead of winter.. What do you expect.? I run hot anyways. We kinda wished they had cards against humanity but it's not really suitable for families. It seems like more of a getaway place you'd go with lots of friends. Also, there wasn't a frying pan for eggs so we used a pot. These are just tiny knit picky things that don't really matter. I loved this place would come back in a heartbeat. The water was very tasty as well. Thanks Dave!
The cabin was beautiful. Well stocked, beautiful view of the mountain, secluded from the crazy traffic of Killington. Nice place to get away.
DaVe was awesome. Answered all of my emails promptly and even provided info on the area once I told him I had never been to Killington before. The cabin was everything we expected and more. The bed was very comfortable. I love to cook and super excited to find a kitchen that was so well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The hot tub feels very private surrounded by the forest in the back. Although our first trip to the cabin was just as a couple we can not wait to go back and bring friends.
The house was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. We were able to relax by the fire and soak in the hot tub. Great location, close to many outdoor adventures. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again. The host, Dave, was prompt and professional and had everything taken care of in a timely manner.
