Oasis is a spacious TWO bedroom ground floor apartment with designated parking in a converted 1950s Pontiac dealership right in the heart of Downtown Wilmington.
Convention Center 0.4 miles away. Hilton wedding and conference center 3 min walk away. Child at UNCW? we have a lot of parents who stay for visits and graduation.
Fully renovated to bring out the best from the 13 foot ceilings and two huge cathedral windows, you will love having plenty of room in this lovely light apartment. The open plan kitchen dining area with all new cabinets and appliances makes living here convenient and easy. Carpeted throughout except for beautiful cream travertine tiles in kitchen/dining area.
The sitting room has a 40" TV and many channel and music options and a DVD player. Each bedroom has a small flat screen TV. Apartment has WiFi with secured access.
We have one Queen sized bed in master room and one Full sized bed in the other bedroom as we have more demand from guests who are traveling as friends or two couples on holiday together. Oasis is perfect as a quiet retreat from Downtown Wilmington.
From Oasis step into everything Wilmington has to offer; riverfront boardwalk, historic district, Convention center, shops and restaurants all moments away, then come back into the quiet to recharge. Your designated parking space is right outside the front door so you can experience City living without the stress of constantly trying to find a space to park or coins for the meter. ILM airport just four miles away. We have multiple bus stops just down the street or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the river front and Historic District. The ferry runs across to the battleship or you can enjoy walking the cobbled streets of Downtown Wilmington.

I love Downtown, Wilmington is a mini Charleston; water, historic homes, carriage rides, great places to eat and all within easy walking distance. Also known as Filmington it's fun to watch the crews in action and see the stars all over town. We Filmingtonians pride ourselves on giving them space so remember when you see a star .. Look but don't touch.
Free Trolley, mid priced carriage rides, inexpensive water taxi to the battleship, Bus stop hub one block away.

The responsible booking person is to ensure they and their guests follow the following rules.
We have tried through multiply photographs and independent reviews to ensure our accommodation is properly represented and on arrival will meet your expectations. However if there is a problem on arrival, this must be reported within 12 hours.
Cancellations; A cancellation fee of 50% is payable up to 10 days prior to arrival with arrival date counting as the 11th day. Cancellation within the 10 days prior will result in a full payment. However once notified of a cancellation we will make every effort to re-book your cancelled dates. If and when we do so we will refund all monies paid for any night booked during the original booking. On arrival there will be no refunds for any reason.
General liability; the responsible booking person or his/her guests accepts in booking this property that the owner is NOT responsible for accidents, injuries or illness that occurs through the booking of this premises. The tenant agrees to release and indemnify the landlord from and against liability for injury to the tenant or guests of the tenant and will not seek punitive damages in the event of any accident, injuries or illness. All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Occupancy; Maximum four (4) people. Renters who exceed the occupancy limit and falsify occupancy information at the time of reservation are subject to eviction.
Housekeeping; When you arrive the home will be clean and set up with linens and towels, and as a courtesy we have included the initial list of supplies; paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap and rinse, hand soap, body wash, aluminum foil, clothes washing powder. No daily housekeeping is provided, however long term rental clients can book and pay separately for a regular cleaning arranged through the owner.
Furnishings; We chose a calming cream color scheme with light sofas and white bedding and towels as seen clearly in the photographs. Please be careful when using items which mark. Worst sofa stains so far have been cheetos chips and chocolate, both could have been prevented by the use of the paper kitchen towels and plates provided for your stay.
Smoking/illegal substances; strictly prohibited and grounds for eviction. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $100 fine for any evidence including smell of smoking. If you need to smoke please go to the sidewalk. Do not stand outside the apartment windows smoking as this is against Pontiac Place HOA rules and they will issue a separate $200 fine.
Noise; The City of Wilmington doesn’t allow excessive noise. If you are reported there will be a fine issued by the City. You have working neighbors so please be considerate when entering and leaving the apartment, especially at night. Please do not stand outside apartment windows or within the car park talking loudly.
House Parties; strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction 24/7
Damage; if you break or mark something you agree to let owner know as soon as possible between the hours of 9am and 5pm. There is only a 3 hour turn round time after you leave so replacements need to be purchased ready to bring with the cleaning crew and specialist cleaning needs to be booked ahead. All damages will be charged for at cost and a receipt provided to verify. Opps butterfingers! We do not charge for broken glasses and flatware and really appreciate you letting us know it happened so we can restock for the next guest.
Accidental Packing; Found something in your car or luggage from Oasis, please send back to PO Box 471, Wrightsville Beach NC 28480
Tropical Storm/Hurricane; we live in an area that experiences extreme weather. From the day that there is a mandatory evacuation order we will refund any portion pro rata for the period that the apartment is empty. We will not refund any day in the rental period once the mandatory evacuation is lifted.
Pets; I’m sorry we don’t allow pets even if they arrive with your visitors (family member is allergic to dogs) It is also against HOA rules and a fine can be issued.
Gum; please don't stick in, on or under furniture- yes, it happened....
Parking; Parking is limited to one vehicle unless pre approved for two. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. There is a designated parking space marked ‘Oasis Vacation Rental’ do not parking in any other space marked O or in any other space other than the spaces marked ‘guest parking’ which allow 1 hr parking. There is metered on street parking which is free between the hours of 6.30pm and 9am and all day Sunday.
Toilets: The sewerage system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you will be charged the cost of a remedial plumber.
Pest Control; this is the South y'all and there are Palmetto bugs and other delightful creepy crawlies out there. We regularly spray inside and a contractor sprays quarterly outside but after a heavy rain the occasional one gets in. Do not leave food or drinks out overnight and wipe up any edible spills so not to encourage a visit.
Glass Table; Do not attach any item to the glass topped dining table. It is especially not suitable for attachable highchairs and has been previously broken due to the pressure from securing one.
Keys; you are given two sets of keys and you are responsible for leaving them in the secure lockbox on leaving. Please make it the last thing you check before you drive away.
Force Majeure; There may be circumstances beyond our control and contemplation, in which the property might not be available for your booking. Examples of these include(but are not limited to) destruction of or severe damage to the property. In the event of Force majeure, we will contact you immediately and refund all monies paid. This will be the full extent of our liability to you in such circumstances, and we will not be responsible for any other costs connected with any such cancellation, howsoever arising.
and Finally.... asking for a refund on the basis that if we don't you will leave a bad review is a criminal offence and will be reported to (website hidden) and Wilmington police Dept. We don't offer financial incentives for good reviews and we won't give refunds due to the threat of a bad one. Our reviews are genuine because of this policy.
I once heard that North Carolina was known for its 'Southern hospitality'. Sarah, and her Oasis, are the quintessence of the term. I don't want to ruin the surprises for others, so let me just say: Around every corner there were examples of her thoughtful care to making sure we had a refreshing, worry-free stay. We weren't even halfway through our trip when we started planning for next year's return to Oasis!
Sarah was a great hostess and her place was very nice, clean and centrally located. We really enjoyed our time there and will probably stay here again.
Oasis was a wonderful retreat over the 4th of July holiday for me, my husband and mother. We were visiting to celebrate the engagement of my brother and his new fiancee! Sarah had a message for us on the chalkboard when we first arrived, and even had fresh donuts for us to enjoy! She added little special touches to make our stay very comfortable.
Clean, convenient, and perfect spot downtown Wilmington. I'll be back sometime!
Oasis is better than anything I could have hoped for. We stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding at one of the hotels on the river. This was SO much more affordable than the hotel and we were staying with another couple. The layout of the condo was just perfect for this--the bedrooms were separated by the (very spacious) bathroom, so there are no adjoining walls and we didn't disturb each other in the night (even with a loud snorer). The living room was nice, and the two couches worked out perfectly for hanging out together.
The location of this place just cannot be beat. We were just a couple blocks from the wedding location, two blocks from fly trap brewing, and two blocks from all the bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores we could need.
There is only one parking space for the unit, but there is a public parking deck on the same block and we just parked our second car there--EASY.
I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in Wilmington.
There is a second parking spot available right outside Oasis as I say on my webpage I just need to know ahead of the visit that you need it. So sorry I didn't realize the FourOOimer guests were in two cars. Please always let me know if you need two spaces - there is no extra charge.
What a fantastic spot! The place was spotless, roomie and a terrific location. Sarah was great with communication and made things very easy. I will definitely be back here when I am back in Wilmington!
The OASIS is very comfortable and has a great location. The high ceilings and large rooms provide plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was well equipped, though we didn't really do any cooking there. The river walk and the main streets are all close by. Wrightsville Beach was just a short drive away. Sarah was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a great home base if you are visiting Wilmington.

My babies grew up and started to fly the nest so Oasis was a surprise from my lovely hubby. He knows how much I love looking after people so thought Oasis could be my new 'baby'. I love hearing about the reasons people are coming to Wilmington and try hard to add little touches to Oasis to complement their stay. I have been running Oasis for nearly three years and have met some great people and had a lot of fun but don't tell hubby, he thinks it's all work! I hope you love Oasis as much as I do.
