Lovely peaceful location - great if you enjoy being out of doors no matter what the weather. The cabin has everything you could need and at a reasonable price.
Great family friendly location, all you need for a comfy short stay in a remote area in mid-Wales. The cabin is equipped with everything needed, and the host is helpful and answers very quickly to inquiries. Smooth check-in. Thanks, Julie.
This is a really great location and a really lovely quiet place to stay. The kids had great fun chasing bunnies and paddling in the river. There is a nice walk to the local hotel where you can get a drink. The accommodation has everything you need and is in a great location fo…
After reading a recent review on here after booking I was slightly nervous about what I would find ! Run down this property definitely was not needs a tiny bit of modernising yes probably but overall a clean warm and comfortable property! Julie is nothing but helpful and in my o…
This cabin, although secluded and on a beautiful site is old and run down. Electrical equipment is outdated and not working and basic amenities struggle to meet simple standards. My hint. Pre load laptops with movies, don't expect any internet or mobile connectivity and take …
Response from Julie:
I’m sorry you felt this way. The cabin maybe old, but it is well maintained and enjoyed by various guests as other reviews reflect. There are matches in the drawer by the oven if needed. There is an switch in the cupboard next to the oven for the ignition – which does work. The listing clearly states “Please note there is a freeview box, but this is not very reliable and sometimes the TV reception is not very good. Please bear in mind that you are in the middle of nowhere surrounded by large trees.” It also states there is no internet signal. – There are however plenty of free wifi hotspots in Builth Town centre. I cannot be held responsible for the lack of your mobile reception in the middle of Wales Some people like being cut off from the world – some people like a 5 star hotel. If you want a hotel book Caer Beris Manor across the river.
