Interaction with Guests
I might not be in town when you're here but I can have someone helping you in case of problem.
It's quite central (2 important metro lines), always animated (lots of cool bars and good restaurants, market twice a week), open minded and cosmopolitan like a "melting pot". You'll meet students of the Architecture school, chinese families, hipsters or working class people from all origins, artists... It's not far from Canal Saint-Martin. It's also close to rue Sainte Marthe and rue denoyez (colorful streets with artist studios and restaurants from worldwide). On the boulevard it's not so charming (prostitutes "work" here) but it's really safe.
Metro Belleville (line 2 that goes from Etoile-Charles de Gaulle to Nation or line 11 that goes from Mairie des Lilas to Chatelet)
Other Things to Note
The bathroom is a lintel needs a little renewing but everything works perfectly.
I leave a lot of personal things (nothing expensive) so I just expect my guests to be respectful with everything, and above all with my neighbors who are very cool. I'm ok for people to smoke but with windows open please.
