  • Absolutly beautiful lofty luminous flat with an amazing view of the Alhambra. Could have stayed on the couch for ages just looking out the window. The terrasse is gorgeous too! Maria has been wonderful the whole time. She went out of her ways to help me find my work place and made sure I felt at home. She is a very warm person with a positive aura. I truly enjoyed her company! I would definitly stay there again if I were to come back to Granada.
    Take care Maria!

  • The views from Maria's lovely loft (and the loft itself) are even better than pictures can convey. They're stunning, a transformative experience! We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is extremely well located and quite comfortable. The short walk uphill was not a problem for us, and if you're physically able, it's a key part of the Granada experience anyway. Maria is a joy, very attentive and respectful. She's got wonderful suggestions for restaurants, etc., on her map and welcomes questions. We'd love to return, and if we ever have the chance, we'll call Maria first!

  • What a place, what a pleasure!
Maria, the host, extremely pleasant and always available for us.
The apartment a little jewel in the old part of the city with fantastic views. Could not find any better place to stay.
Granada... just amazing. Well worth a visit, or even more than one.

  • María's apartment was wonderful. The private views of the Alhambra are hard to beat. Not to mention, the apartment itself is lovely. Location was fantastic, close to attractions and amazing views. Yes, it is on a hill, but if you're walking around Granada, there are hills! In my opinion, you'll not find a better apartment in Granada.

  • We had a very nice experience in this cosy loft. the views form the terrace were incredible and the place very comfortable. What you see in the pictures really is what you get.

María was very nice. She had already written a couple of email explaining how to reach the place and with information and suggestions to prepare our visit to Granada. When we arrived she was waiting for us in the apartment and apart from explaining everything she had prepared a map of the city for us and some more information. She even lent us a book about la Alhambra to take to the visit. And whenever I needed to call her before arriving to ask anything she was always perfectly reachable and willing to explain everything. She is a great host.

The place is a very nice area, you need to walk a bit to get to the centre but Granada is not a big city and everything is within a walking distance, besides the area is very nice and the walk to the centre very enjoyable. There is also a supermarket and shops very close to the apartment and bars and places to enjoy tapas when we felt lazy to go to the centre and we preferred to enjoy the Albaicín.

I will definitely stay here again if I come again to Granada.

  • Beautiful apartment overlooking the Alhambra. Maria is an excellent host, very kind and generous. She met us at the apartment and showing us around the flat. She even left us some pasta! Incredibly generous and well stocked kitchen, including tea and coffee. Bathroom is lovely and clean and modern and you can see the Sierra Nevada from the window!
Maria kindly drove out the city for us as trying to negotiate the streets of Granada is very difficult for tourists!

If you're going to stay in Granada then this is the place. Will definitely be returning.

    Thank you Maria!

  • Nice flat and really adorable host.
Be prepared to climb back your way from the center, but it's worth it. Only drawback, the bathroom, with its limited hot water tank.
Last but not least, the area is great, as is the view !
    Recommanded :)

  • Hii everybody! We are a couple from Madrid and we have had the best time ever in Granada and Maria´s flat.
First of all, María was a great host, she was explaining us everything the first night and she left for us milk, juice, coffee and some things for starting the new day because we arrived at night, she was extremely generous and worried about our well-being.
Now the flat...where can I start... maybe the awesome view. While you are eating or sitting in the sofa you can see the Alhambra...I couldnt stop taking pictures it was awesome and probably the best thing. Also the apartment has everything what you may need, towels, bed clothes, a lot of stuff in the kitchen...The mattress was very comfy as well as the pillows. Even if you are a bit lazy and u dont want to climb the big slope to the flat, you can take the microbus number 31 o 35 which leaves u very close to the flat.
I just have good words for this flat and for María, I strongly recommend this appartment and its awesome views.
Muchas gracias por todo María, nos lo hemos pasado como nunca.

    Marta & Víctor :)

  • Maria is a fantastic host. Very warm and accommodating. The loft apartment is lovely with incredible views of Alhambra. You'll never leave the terrace. Kitchen is well equipped. The neighborhood is wonderful -- we loved walking to the plaza and enjoying breakfast with the locals. Be comfortable walking up hills on cobblestone streets. The bus is very easy to use, 5 mins to city center.

About
ENGLISH I love Granada. I chose the Albaicin because knowing it is knowing our past history. Past and present walking together in every its street, in the faces and bodies of their neighbors, the aromas, flamenco talks about our past too. I am professional of agronomy specialized in agroecology and music listener by hoobie. As Agroecologist I need plants so you will enjoy a cup of green tea and pick mint from the pot; also I used natural materials for the refurbishing of the house. I like to walk and the neighborhood is a special place to get lost in their streets. I like to enjoy the tranquility and magic of special places where you can simply devote to contemplation. About my sense of comfort, I have remodeled all the places where I have lived looking for bright and open spaces, light and functional, so I hope you like my place. For me is a pleasure to share my house with people from all over the world, I like and respect every culture and I think each one of them have millions of things to teach.
