Tastefully decorated, cozy and comfortable, this is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two!
Rafael is a very friendly host (: And the flat was very easy to find and reach from everywhere !
Rafael was very professional. The room was well cleaned and had almost everything we needed. It was very easy to find and well located.
We stayed in Rafael's place for 4nights, the place is not too big as we have huge luggage, but the room is very comfy for a nice stay in Paris, as the location is very convenient, within 10minutes walk to metro station "Rome". We bumped into Rafael on our way to check in, he helped us a lot and we are very satisfied with our stay there!
The story was shared already as our bookings were separetly done :)
It is a great location, very close to subway and Montmarte. The very small living space was a bit of a shock. If you just need a place to sleep, then this is a room for you. The room was clean as was the bathroom, both just very small, think a storage area for bicycles. Rafael (email hidden), we had trouble with the code and he readily helped us. You are in the main foyer, so you will hear people coming and going, if you are a light sleeper this should be note, we weren't so it didn't matter. Overall, we were happy because the location was good, but we wouldn't have been able to stay two people for more than a few nights.
Rafael was one of the best hosts we've had! While the apartment is quite small, it was sufficient for my husband and myself. Rafael's instructions for checking in and out were clear and concise. He was available at all times by email and phone.
Rafael was kind enough to have our bags (delayed by Air France:() delivered at his office and later drop them off at the apartment. Thank you Rafael!
a small but nice apartment close to everything you need like restaurants, metro and supermarket. A good choice for 2 ppl for a good price.
We based our booking for this studio on all the positive reviews. Rafael was prompt in his response and we appreciate that. While I agree with most of them, we felt that the size of space was not clearly articulated. It is very small and therefore if you are more than one person, you may need to adjust. Everything is clean and new, which we had no complaints. However, the instructions on what one could use and not use was unclear. The basic amenities provided were extremely basic and if you are sleeping more than one night, you may need better pillows. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Rafael and were not able to figure out that the bedding was hidden underneath the sofabed. We tried to work it, but gave up and decided to sleep on the upstairs loft, which did not have any proper mattress sheet provided. There were no instructions on how to work the heater, so unfortunately without able to find the bedding we were freezing. We are not picky travelers, have stayed in much more cramped settings, but we felt for the price we paid, there could have been more offered in terms of orienting us in the space and also basic amenities. We also feel that charging your guests 40 Euros if you feel they have not cleaned up properly is a very subjective cause. We treat our stays as if they were our home, but we are not professional cleaners and would rather pay a small fee and not have to do this during our vacation. Although we were not satisfied with our stay at this particular listing, based on the price of the listing (the difference between our other Paris listing and this was night and day size and amenities wise), the location was great and many restaurants around and Rafael did offer us a partial refund. I think if you are tight for bookings and just need a place to lay your head for a night or two it would be ok - but for anything else or more people it would just be very cramped.
