We are renting out a room in a spacious apartment situated in a stylish old building, in the 8th district of Vienna, which is one of the city´s oldest quarters.
The flat is nicely and quietly located on the mezzanine floor, with a balcony that includes also a comfy sitting area.
It has one bathroom with a shower as well as a toilet. The bedroom features a double bed and there is a separate sofa for you to chill out and also a desk for you to work at or even hold small meetings, in case you are travelling for business purposes to Vienna.
Not only will you reach the city centre in the 1st district within 5 minutes, also in walking distance, but also, just 15 minutes away, there is the most famous Cathedral St.Stephen. Cultural attractions, like Vienna´s museums and theaters are close by. The apartment is in general very well connected through public transport, such as the metro U6 as well as the tram 46, stopping literally round the corner.
We hope to host you very soon at our place!
Several devices such as a DVD Recorder as well as WiFi internet will make sure you will enjoy your stay at our place.
Three supermarkets in our nearby area will cater for your daily needs and there is also a pharmacy in the building next to ours.
A weekly market is just in front of the house. Many restaurants, serving international cuisine, such as Persian, Italian, Dalmatian and even a fully Vegan restaurant, are just a quick walk away.

We really enjoyed the place, it is close to city centre, close to tram station, nice building. The room was big, lot of space to put you luggage. Coming in to town we were stacked in the traffic so we sent a message to Ursula and came 45 min after agreed time. She was helpful and waited for us. The only think we were disappointed was the kitchen. The sink in the kitchen was full of used dishes (not ours), so we could barely heat the water for the tea.
Eine wirklich schöne Altbauwohnung, sehr zentral gelegen. Das war perfekt für unseren kurzen Wientrip.
We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful city of Vienna. Ursula has a very cosy apartment, the room itself was ok with a separate place with sofa and TV, a balcony for a little cigarette and an excellent location only fifteen minutes walking from Museums Quarter (that we recommend for the alternative Xmas market in Vienna) and a short, one transfer metro ride from the fantastic Naschmarket. We recommend the place for those looking for a non engaging, simple place that gives intimacy and space.
Es war wunderbar bei Ursula. Sie ist eine sehr unkomplizierte und freundliche Gastgeberin. Danke!
Had a great stay! Our host was friendly and helpful. And so was her daughter. Both helped us find things around the city, and it was easy to get everywhere--great location and walking distance from the center. Excellent authentic Viennese food just up the street.
Room was reasonable--plenty of outlets to charge laptops etc. decent bed , shower and bathroom. Clean kitchen. We would stay here again.
