  • Maris was a super responsive host, answering the phone each time I called with a question. There was a problem with the building key in the middle of our stay, and she took care of the problem directly.

After exploring the city for a few days I highly recommend the apartment on the criteria of location. We used the Metro every day and it took us only five minutes to walk to the station.

The apartment was clean, accurate to the photos, and had a sweet little kitchen, well equipped for basic cooking. Maris provided drinking water.

The 2nd bed is only a couch, which my daughter slept on with the provided sheets and blankets.

  • Our incoming flight was cancelled so we didn't arrive until the next day, but Maris made arrangements for us to get the keys. It was surprisingly quiet in the apartment and I really liked all of the plants she has. She had fruit for us which was very appreciated, and there are windows in three directions so depending on the time of day something could be opened to let in light and air.
One word of caution if you stay here - watch your head on the shelf above the couch!

  • Maris was a wonderful host. She was very hands-on and waited for 1.5hrs past our original meeting time as I was stuck in customs. In addition, she provided a lot of information on the city and the neighbourhood, and arranged for us to be picked up by a car on the morning. The apartment is very well located and has everything you could need for your trip to Mexico City.

  • We stayed at Maris's lovely apartment for a week during November. The apartment was very well located, close to a metro station and in a very safe area where we felt safe walking home even later in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Maris and her daughter greeted us when we arrived and were both really friendly and helpful. Later in the week Maris also contacted some of her friends to help us with our travel plans and could not have been more helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

  • A fantastic place to stay. Wonderful location, neat and tidy flat with great artwork on the wall. Unfortunately we didn't meet Maris, but she communicated with us regularly and was very hospitable. The flat had all the crockery and cutlery that are needed to cook for yourself. All in all, a terrific experience!

  • Maris was a very generous and helpful host. Her apartment is very cute, not cluttered at all, which I like, and was the perfect fit for the week's stay. Location was in Zona Roma which I liked very much, very close to MetroBus and a taxi stand. WiFi, phone, TV (in Spanish of course!), water cooler, printer, great things to have in the apartment. Bring extra towels for yourself. Water pressure in shower very low, but that has nothing to do with Maris. She also offered to get a taxi for our trip back to the airport. Maris was a very good host in that if I wanted her help, I believe for pretty much anything, it was there for the asking. She did not push. I would definitely stay here again, and I know I will since my son will be living in Mexico City.

  • This apartment worked really well for our first visit to Mexico City: its on a quiet street but very close to the Insurgentes Metro/MetroBus and within easy walking distance to the Zona Rosa heartland and the stylish cafes of Roma Norte.

The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped: we used the kitchen to make breakfast (with great coffee from the cafe down on the street provided by Maris). I got ill one day and it provided a comfortable retreat for this off-day.

Maris herself was welcoming, informative and friendly, and she was there waiting for us which made a new and strange city feel more homely.

  • We stayed four weeks at Maris' apartment and recommend it highly. Maris is an amiable and helpful host. The location is great; we walked to most places we wanted to see, but metrobus lines and the metro are nearby. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, the decoration good. The kitchen is small but adequate for simple meals; don't plan on preparing banquets. We slept very well, but light sleepers may not: there is some noise in the night.

  • This place is best to explore Mexico City, it so nice and have everything I needed (include internet). I had good time and I will stay again for next visit. Maris is so nice lady and I asked some questions, she returned quickly even she was outside country for her trip. If you visit here, take double decker bus from Reform 222, it's very fun ride.
