John & Sharon are great hosts. We arrived very late and have not eaten so they took us to the local stalls to get some dinner and drove us back. Really appreciated that. They also gave us a couple of taxi phone numbers which we used. The taxi recommended was awesome that we hired him for a day tour.
The condo is spacious with good facilities such as the pool. Boys could have a quick swim even though we arrived late.
However, you will need taxi to get to the Jonker area.
Nice Owner, Friendly, will get back next time.
John is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. Upon our arrival in Malacca and after our initial meeting, he took us in his car to one of the local markets to pick up some items that we might need during our stay at his place (a nice welcoming touch). The smell of durian was in the air as we drove by one of the fruit stands, so we stopped to try some. My wife, from Johor Bahru, loves the small-town atmosphere of Malacca, which lacks the hustle and bustle of the big city. I would highly recommend a stay at John’s place. But, be sure to ask him to explain how to use the washer. We eventually figured it out, but I wish I’d thought to ask him about it at the time. Thanks John, for a great visit. Ed and Pitmei Seymour
