    Tapeka Beach is a safe, sandy all tide swimming beach. The main feature is a pair of huge Norfolk Pine trees planted in the 1830s. Diving pontoon, boat ramp, ski lane, picnic area and toilets

    The gateway to the Bay of Islands. Tapeka Point reserve was originally a Maori Pa (fort) A walking track (15 mins) leads to the top and amazing views of the Bay. Tapeka has a safe swimming beach
