This home is perfect if you are in LA for work or vacation. You can enjoy surfing, boogie boarding either down at Santa Monica Beach or at the Venice Beach breakwater; rollerblading or bike riding (rentals for both at the beach) on the bike path that winds along the beach from Pacific Palisades to Palos Verdes – especially great at sunset. Take a walk on the famous Venice Boardwalk.
Pacific Coast Highway and the 10 Freeway are nearby, so a drive to Malibu, coastal hikes or visits/meetings at Los Angeles destinations are easy.

Jake and Belinda were great hosts, and we loved staying at their sunny, charming house while we were in LA. It had everything we needed and was a close walk to Main street with lots of restaurants and cafes. We'd be happy to come back on our next visit! :)
We had such a wonderful stay at Jake & Belinda's sunny beach cottage. The cottage is exactly like it is in the pictures, charming, cute, very organized and clean. The location could not have been more perfect - we were able to walk everywhere - to the beach, the shops, venice, etc. Jake & Belinda were very accommodating hosts - they answered all of our questions quickly and Belinda met us as soon as we arrived to greet us and show us the house and give us the run down on things to do in the area. They also had a bottle of wine and some coffee for us on arrival, which was so very thoughtful. We really loved our stay, and will definitely love to stay again when we travel back to Santa Monica.
Our hosts welcomed us warmly and gave us a great sense of our location within Santa Monica and where local amenities could be found. This home was in an area with a great neighborhood feel and was within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, shopping, and of course, the beach. Really an ideal location in the center of it all without being in the hustle/bustle of the Pier/3rd Street Promenade area.
The location of the house was in a lovely quiet street a 10 minute walk from restaurants and beaches. The house was clean and with a full kitchen and laundry made it an ideal place to stay for our family of five. Jake and Belinda were friendly and helpful. This was the ideal base to explore Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
We had a wonderful few days at this property! A perfect location...quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from everything. Wonderfully comfortable accommodations and Jake couldn't have been nicer. Wine and coffee when we arrived. Jake offered up suggestions for fun and was available by text to meet any of our needs. Our favs - Urth, Misfit Bar, Sonoma Wine Garden, Abbot Kinney Blvd, Santa Monica Food Truck lot, Blue Plate Taco, biking to Venice Beach. The beach was lovely and we were mesmerized by the surfers, seals and dolphins. Celebrity sightings on Main Street as well. The next time we head to the area, this is where we'll stay.
Our family stayed here for a week between Xmas and New Year's. Jake and Belinda were great hosts starting with the welcome bottle of wine, bag of fresh coffee and even some restaurant suggestions. Weather was cold by LA standards and Jake responded right away with a new extra space heater for the two rear bedrooms which were a bit cold. Great quiet neighborhood walking distance to Main Street and its interesting shops and restaurants. House is exactly as described. Was a bit concerned about finding street parking but had no difficulties.
First time in SoCal and what a perfect place to stay! Beautiful house in a nice and calm neighborhood surprisingly close to LAX and Santa Monica beach. We were greeted by Jake, who was very helpful and available by text messages. We felt very welcome and the nice bottle of wine and coffee beans were a nice surprise.
The house was as described if not better: clean, spacious and charming. We slept so well in the comfy beds. This will definitely stay on our wish list for future visits to LA area, thank you Jake and Belinda for sharing your beach retreat!!
We live in a house just behind this one and are very familiar with the neighborhood. To us it is like living our lives on vacation. We love the beach and really enjoy spending days in our neighborhood without ever having to get in the car. Belinda and I are excited to help you enjoy this place as much as we do. Send us a message and let's get your good time started.
