  • My boyfriend and I stayed in Villa 2 at Vida Silvestre in early June. The property is beautiful, and very well maintained. Beach access is currently offered through Las Ranitas and Be Tulum. I would recommend Las Ranitas for a place to spread out and relax. Sonia was a terrific host, and we will definitely be back to Tulum!

Sonia e' stata gentile, simpatica e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che le 5 ville hanno I pannelli solari. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie

  • Tulum sanctuary!

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon for ten days. I would recommend this place highly. If, however, you are after a super polished beach resort. This place is not for you.

The location is great and is down the quieter end of the beach. You are a short walk to the beach across the road and through the neighboring resort (the access is free). Tulum is fairly spread out with stunning little Eco resorts all along the beach front. Nothing like the gaudy Cancun mega hotels. These are (for the ones we saw) all very tasteful and with a well cultivated Eco vibe. The place is easy to get around on foot or by bike (which are provided) or taxis seem to be ever present no matter what time of day or night.

There are soo many great little places to eat that are really surprising. The food and drink is just fantastic and many if the places are much nicer than their entrances may suggest.

The accommodation has great character and charm. The complex is quiet and you have everything you need for a great holiday. You feel like you are right in the jungle in your bungalow and you wake up in the tree tops every morning. The pool is great but with the beach so close we did not use it very much. The kitchen is tidy and adequately equipped but with the range of food on offer nearby, we did not cook once. The lounge was a comfortable but it was the hammock in the garden that got the most use. The two bathrooms are nice and bright and well apportioned. The place really felt like home.

There were a few kinks but once you get used to them it is fantastic. There are only mosquito nets and blinds on the doors so the sound travels between the units. The hot water can disappear quickly (but this is all part of the Eco feel). The weather was so hot that a refreshing shower in the morning was a great way to start the day. My impression from the photos was that the place was quite modern. My first impression after we arrived was that this was a little rustic (maybe just me). There were a couple of lights that could have been replaced and the couch in the lounge was a bed mattress on a base with some cushions and a backboard. The Wi-fi can be patchy at times and there is no TV. On the whole these are very minor issues with what is a truly fantastic place. If you want to come and explore Tulum, this place is a great option.

    Gracias Sonia.

  • This is a true find. Exotic tucked away location. A beautiful private villa with a pool and lush grounds. Right across the beach, parking and a very attentive staff. The perfect Tulum experience.

  • I had a Great Time at Vida Silvestre, enjoyed a Lot the wonderful white Beach just across the street. The houses are very Open, only with Moskito nets and curtains, so there is a fresh breeze going. At Night time this Is quite a noise, but no Problem when using earplugs.
My House was a Little rundown and Not the newest any more. Same with the Pool (which i enjoyed using anyway). Oven wasn't working, next Time i personally wouldnt Book a room with a kitchen again because i guess this attracts the "Little visitors" more than having no kitchen. Sleeping upstairs is ok thanks to the mosquito net.
Great help and very lovely was Oscar who is the "housekeeper" and lives on the property!!

  • Our stay was absolutely perfect! Everything was conveniently located and easy to access - especially the beach through connections with Dos Cebias. It's beautiful, peaceful and totally safe/secure. Cannot wait to go back!
Sonia was so helpful, kind and quick to respond that it made everything super easy for us. Such a lovely lady!!
    Highly recommend staying here!!

  • Vida Silvestre was amazing and perfect for our trip. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find ample parking exclusively for Vida Silvestre. We stayed in villa #3, which is right in front of the pool. We barely saw the other tenants during our week there; it was like the whole place was ours. We were always the only ones using the pool too. We were able to access the beach via Dos Ceibas, which is right across the street. The beach there is nice and they allow you to use their lounge chairs and bar. Sonia was a wonderful host: very quick to respond and gave us all the information we needed. Also, the Internet on the property is pretty reliable (not that you'd want to be connected anyway). We will definitely stay here again!

  • The villas at Vida Silvestre are the PERFECT way to experience Tulum, hands down. Upon entering the beautiful gated entryway, you're instantly transported into a tropical paradise fit for royalty. The villas are exquisite - brilliantly designed, eco-chic and incredibly romantic and ethereal. Best of all, they're clean, bright, and secure.

Sonia, who met us upon our arrival (we were very late and she was extremely accommodating!) was so nice, genuine, and stuck around to chat with us about where to go/what to see/etc.

I can't think of one thing I could recommend to make this place better - the only reason I hesitate to recommend it so highly is that I fear it will be all booked up the next time I travel to Tulum.

Thank you Sonia, and Vida Silvestre, for making our trip so magical!
