About this listing
A one bedroom - summer heaven in Montreal!
Quiet and calm (safe) street, yet under a 7 minute walk to grocery, metro, nightlife, theatre, live music, shopping, cafes...pretty much anything you wish!
Welcome to the discovery of this fantastic hood!
The house is on a quiet pedestrian street, in a safe and fun neighbourhood. A large garden with trees and fountains runs along one side of the house - a cute magical place that tourists love to pass through, on a regular basis!
This one bedroom apartment has a queen bed, 2 balconies, lots of windows and sunlight. Its on the second floor, which is the top floor, so there are no noisy neighbours or people above you.
Cars never wake you up here, only birds and sunshine!
The place will be all yours, I'll be away during your stay! Neighbours are helpful and friendly, I have many friends who live near by incase you need anything and I can most often be reached by email, phone or text during your stay.
I love my place so much, and hope you will too!
Electric Heating, Air Conditioner and wireless internet are provided. (There is also a futon in the living room, which pulls out to be a double bed, so that up to 4 people could sleep here). Fully furnished and everything you could need in the kitchen. Sheets, towels and toilet paper provided. Free parking is nearby, but more importantly, walking distance to various grocery stores, markets, restaurants, bars, cafes, library, free pools, parks...everything!
Interaction with Guests
I will meet to pass you the keys upon arrival your first day, and to wish you well, upon leaving the house your last day - if unavailable, a trusted friend will come by. (Arrangements can be made if you need to arrive or leave at odd hours of the day or night, no problem).
Very near both Mont-Royal and Laurier Metro stops. Right between the main streets that all tourists should discover, Saint Laurent and Saint Denis, Laurier and Mont-Royal. Most desired neighbourhood.
As for parking, there are lots of free spots on the streets surrounding the house, just make sure you're checking the signs for specific hours where it is prohibited (one hour, one day a week when they clean the road)...and make sure you're not where passes are required. All my guests and family find free parking around here and have stayed for weeks straight - though one time a guest miss-read the sign and received a ticket, so worth looking out for.
Other Things to Note
No Cats-Dogs-Rabbits please. No smoking indoors, but on the balcony is fine (please use ashtray). Last detail: no peanuts or nuts in the house however, as the owner is highly allergic.
Please no smoking inside, but smoking on the balconies is ok! There is an ashtray for you outside.
I would love for you to water my plants a bit (only if they really need it, otherwise, no worries!)
Please no Peanuts, nuts or cooking white fish in the house (salmon and tuna are totally fine though) - Important allergy. Thanks so much for understanding!
