Lovely house being lovingly renovated by its owners. A few rough edges here and there due to the renovation work but warm and comfortable and met our needs completely. Yvonne was a delightful host.
Our stay at Yvonnes was very pleasant. We were warmly welcomed and communication was great leading up to and throughout our stay. The room was warm and cosy and the location of the house is handy to the sights of Cumbria. We recommend Yvonne's place to anyone wishing to visit this naturally beautiful part of the UK.
Very welcoming family. Yvonne and her husband give great tips on trips. Plus: they have a great pub next door. Recommended! Private room and bathroom.
I stayed one night at Yvonne's home and it was a very nice stay. The room is on the first floor and is very spacious with a double bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The bath/shower room over the hall is very large and the shower was excellent. Overall, a very pleasant place to spend a night.
To stay with Yvonne and her family, especially with the five weeks old Yvonne, was very pleasant. They live in a village not far from the sea in a nice part of England. Very recommendable.
My stay at Yvonne's was great. She was a very pleasant, helpful host and the room was great. I'd recommend her house if you're in the area.
I spent time just 2 night. but Yvonne wad very helpful for me. If I have chance I would love to stay them house!
It was huge relief to arrive at Yvonne's and be made so welcome, as well as to not be in terrible trouble for my delayed arrival.
It was an excellent stay and I am very greatful to Yvonne and her husband.
Our hosts made sure we were welcomed and the room was tidy. We were not with them for long, so very grateful for the room for the night.
Had a lovely time with Yvonne and Peter. The house is very much being renovated (as stated) however the top floor where we stayed was finished and comfortable. The room is a spaceous twin and the private bathroom is a bonus. We used the kitchen for breakfasts and cooked dinner there one night also. We were given our own shelf in the fridge to store our food. Cleator Moor is only a small town but it is in a great location to explore the Lake District and the north coast especially St. Bees. On Peter's suggestion we tried a local pub that impressed us greatly. Turns out it had won Pub of the Year 2012!
