We were able to check-in late and had a nice stay. While the walls were quite thin and there was a lot of noise from our neighbours across the hall. But it was good to have a balcony and it's only 10 minutes walk to Palermo Soho. The concierge staff were extremely helpful with adviceon travel and booking a tour.
Excellent apartment. Very clean. Housekeeper was a pleasant surprise. Close to Palermo Soho. Recommended.
amazing apartment, great location but peaceful enough to get a rest from the city that never sleeps. recommend
Fantastic place in a really nice area, which has a lot of local cosy cafés and restaurants.
We would have loved to stay more days just hanging out at the pool. The fitness area though, are very bad with old falling-apart-machines. The kitchen isn't that well equipped either, but then you have the nice restaurants of cause.
We would definitely book it again!
the apartment is much nicer and spacious then the pictures show it,including a great balcony with views of BA skyline and the pool
location is very cool, lots of restaurants and great antique furniture stores
paula and her staff are wonderful and very helpful,
I would rent it again as it is a very good deal
Everything was excellent. I didn't get into the pool or used the gym or the grill at all, but it was always nice that it was there for me. Paula, the building manager, is really nice. The only not great thing was the location. It is in Palermo, but you'd still walk a lot just to get into the subway or going to other places within Palermo. But, the place is just absolutely amazing.
It is on a great localization. You can go on foot to great restaurants. Everything went as planned.
My boyfriend and myself had a lovely stay in this studio, it was a bit of home away from home. I would recommend it and I would do it again but here is more information for those who like me were 1st time AirBnB users and like a bit more information before they take the leap.
+ Very easy and efficient service from Facundo’s team (I don’t know if I ever actually talked to him). The people at Athena suites were very nice and helpful. We booked a bit last minute and Sushi was there to welcome us to our studio apartment, she was always there to answer any questions.
+ They all speak English, that helped a lot.
+ The place is very modern and very clean. It was not the same as the one from the pictures but it was excellent. We had towels, shampoo, soap; it is a nit
+ They have maid services which helped a lot.
+ Palermo is a neat neighborhood to walk around, but be careful, there is a lot of garbage and dog poop.
- Be aware that this is a residential neighborhood, it can get quiet on the streets but there are lots of people in the small restaurants.
- It is a bit of a walk to the closest metro station (15 min). We took the cab from Retiro bus station, ALWAYS use the Ramese or Radio Taxi from the booth and prepay or you will get scammed if you hail a taxi on the street (our friends have gone through that experience already). We found that using the bus in BA is much more convenient but you have figure out which lines and which stops, and there are lots of stops close to the studio.
- We like to cook and the kitchen is fairly basic. It would be useful if they had some towels for drying dishes.
Great place and hard to beat the location. Before I found this apartment I was wasting my money on a hotel twice as expensive and not nearly as nice. Facundo and his staff went out of their way to be helpful and make my experience in Buenos Aires enjoyable. The one area for improvement is that the fitness room in the building had not really been used or maintained well lately, but even if you take that away, this apartment is still a real find.
