  • A good adress well situated in San Telmo, the hoster and his brother are nice and helpful. The flat is exactly how it is described : bright, clean and you can even cook! To be recommended!

  • Javiers apartment is a short walk from the city centre. Javier, His brother Pablo and his mother were really helpful with all our questions. The apartment is close to the city highway highway, but with earplugs you barely hear anything. The apartment was clean and the facilities were in perfect working order, in particular the air condition was great for the hot summer days.

  • We were welcomed by Javier's mum who was extremely lovely and made us feel right at home instantly.

The flat was exactly as described, and, as we arrived on Sunday morning we were able to enjoy the fantastic location, only a few hundred meters from Plaza Dorrego, the antiques market was taking place.

The café across the road was ideal for breakfast or lunch, possibly evening meal.

Javiers flat is perfect. We felt like we could live our 'normal life', treating his place as if it was our own. Comfortable, clean, hot water when you needed it, great location.

Javier was also a great host. Attentive, responsive, amenable when we requested a late check-out to catch our night bus. Couldn't ask for more.

    Thanks again Javier.

  • Javier and his brother Pablo were very accommodating in our stay. They helped us with every question we had and provided us opinions on how to best approach BA on our first ever visit. We were delighted with them as hosts.
As for the apartment it is in the perfect location in BA. San Telmo is a quirky part to the city with a lot of activity and we found nights in the square a lot of fun. The apartment itself is absolutely fine and I hope you get to meet the night porter as he is a really nice guy, we spoke to him regularly for 20 minutes at a time.

All in all we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate using Javiers apartment if we are fortunate enough to come back to BA.

  • We stayed in Javier's apartment for three nights and had a good time. The kitchen is well equipped and it's nicely located in the centre of San Telmo, but also next to the highway which is quite noisy (if you're a light sleeper it may bother you).
Javiers brother Pablo was very welcoming and gave us tips, metro card and booked the taxi to the airport.
    thank you!!

  • Nice apartment with in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Javier's brother Pablo welcomed us very nicely. Perfect place for tourists who're looking for a short stay in town.

  • This apartment is lovely! Javier is very kind, communicative, and accommodating. His brother, Pablo (who acts as the local contact/host for the place), is also extremely kind, reliable, and happy to help with getting to know the neighborhood and travel plans. The place is clean and simple. The apartment is about half a block from a freeway so it is a bit noisy (we slept just fine) but is centrally located in San Telmo, which is an amazing neighborhood! Tons of fantastic restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The Sunday street fair, which Pablo recommended, is not to be missed and it's about a leisurely 25-30 minute walk to the Plaza de Mayo (historical/political center). We definitely recommend this place if you want to experience a great part of BA!

  • Javier's apartment is great: very well located, cozy, and it has everything we need to spend a whole week, or even more time. The location is golden: we can go to Barrio La Boca or Casa Rosada on foot. On Sundays, it only takes us a few minutes to get to the cheerful Feria de San Telmo, with its musical performances and the wonderful antique shops (love them!). For vinyl lovers, there's a good vinyl shop in Defensa Street. Across the street, we have a wonderful coffee shop (whose name I forgot), an old one, where my boyfriend and I had breakfast everyday : three medialunas with café con leche. I really miss that! And all the experience in Javier’s apartment is enriched with some details, such as the refrigerator magnets, the flyers we see on the table and the condiments left in the kitchen by other people, from different parts of the world. I love the blue wall, the suitcases on the floor… It’s kinda romantic, it matches with Buenos Aires.

  • We didn't meet with Janvier as he was away from the city, but his brother Pablo took care of us well, although he lives half an hour away from the apartment.

The apartment is located in a secure building, with key locks at night and a security guy during the day. Don't expect a huge fancy apartment but a good size one with enough facilities: a kitchen, a living room with a large TV, a bedroom and a small bathroom with tube. There is a Chinese supermarket and a few grocery shops close by, and plaza Dorrego is just 2-3 blocks away.

Pablo and Janvier are very attentive when they also give us a metro card and a phone with all the necessary numbers for us to use when we are in Buenos Aires.

Overall I recommend the apartment if you're not looking for a fancy place to stay the nights. Thanks Pablo and Janvier for having us at your place.
