  • This was my first visit to Bath and my flight from Inverness was delayed by four hours and Brenda was really lovely and came and collected me in person from the airport bus stop in the center of Bath. She is a really nice person and easy to talk to and she very kindly offered to pick me up as I had had such an awful journey. She took me directly to the flat which was perfect and just as I had expected it to be. Everything was spotless and clean and there was a vase of fresh flowers on the dining table. The large bright sitting room has a high moulded ceiling with beautiful silk drapes at the windows and two chandaliers, as you can see in the picture. The bed which is extremely comfortable folds down from a cleverly designed wood paneled wall unit at the back of the sitting room. The bed and bedding are of five star hotel quality. The kitchen is small but perfect and has all the necessary equipment to cook if you want to. I sat on the lovely little balcony adjacent to the kitchen and over looking the gardens at the back of the house having my breakfast every morning. The fIat is only a ten minute stroll down Henrietta Street and over Pultney Bridge to the center of Bath, I had a really lovely time and I would highly recommend this flat for a couple or a lady on her own.

  • What a lovely place to stay in Bath and what a lovely, friendly host Brenda is!
The apartment is decorated beautifully and there is a little gem with the balcony to enjoy some peace and quiet and admiring the views.

The host was kind enough to provide some bread, butter, jam, biscuits and milk so there was no need to run straight to the shops. She also provided some shower gel and some beautiful body lotion.

And to top it all off...a lovely comfy bed!

I would not hesitate to book with Brenda again in the future :)

  • It doesn't get any better than this! This compact little space has it ALL! Great location! Ambience: old building, but all the modern comforts! Kitchen facilities! Comfortable bed! And Brenda is a great host!
If you don't want to drive in Bath, you won't have to staying here.....we parked our car and left it there until it was time to leave!
Because I have back problems, I was wondering if the murphy bed would be comfortable, and it really was.....great mattress!
We enjoyed a few meals on the outdoor balcony, which is quiet and overlooks a private garden below.
And perhaps most importantly, great communication with Brenda. She was very helpful, met with us upon arrival, got us a convenient parking space, and answered all questions. Thank you, Brenda, for helping to make our stay in Bath a positive and memorable one!

  • Having booked a honeymoon in Australia for next year, my wife and I couldn't bring ourselves to stay at home during our post-wedding week so we decided to book ourselves an impromptu short-break via Airbnb.

We found the Georgian Studio in Bath and despite it being very much last minute Brenda accepted us and we were set! Drove down the following morning and Brenda was in touch with us throughout the journey and was there to greet us as we arrived.

The welcome was both extremely helpful and pleasant, but also informative, with Brenda giving us a micro-walkthrough of Bath on a map (invaluable!). After-which we were left to our own devices to enjoy the studio and Bath itself.

The studio was clean, nicely equipped but also with some really genuine-feeling decorative touches. Despite being a studio, it was comfortably spacious whilst retraining that "cosy" feeling - ideal for a romantic break. Bathroom and kitchen were brilliant, Brenda had left a selection of basic provisions in the kitchen which was a lovely touch.

We must make extra mention of the little balcony out the back of the apartment - we were exceptionally lucky with the weather and this was a great little retreat to enjoy. A cute set of table and chairs with quiet surroundings; perfect for a glass (or bottle!) of wine. An almost a parisian experience.

Finally, the location. A genuine 5-10 minute walk to either the centre of bath as well as the river boating club. Within 15 minutes you can be standing outside the Roman Baths. What can I say, Bath was beautiful and quaint, yet vibrant and alive. Just a really, lovely place.

Clear, easy, beautiful and a great location. Brenda was the perfect host. Highly recommended!

  • This was our return visit to Brenda. It was a pleasure to catch up and we were extremely grateful for her generous cold and bubbly gift!
As before we had a great stay in her luxurious apartment and a great time in Bath. We even managed to buy a place outside Bath and look forward to living here!

  • I booked the apartment for my parents as a treat for their 25th wedding anniversary. Brenda's communication throughout was outstanding. They reported that Brenda was a welcoming and helpful host, and appreciated the small welcoming hamper. They really enjoyed their short stay in the apartment, particularly the balcony overlooking the gardens. Thank you Brenda, maybe one day we'll stay there ourselves!

  • This apartment was absolutely perfect and lovely which made for wonderful stay in Bath. Conveniently located to the center of town, it is clean, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. Brenda went out of her way to help get us installed and provided some basic goodies -- loved the ginger lemon cookies. Brenda, thanks so very much for making our stay such a pleasant experience!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing! Great host, beautiful apartment, comfy bed, lovely terrace, overlooking pretty gardens. Brenda has thought of everything, and we couldn't have asked for more. Great location, parking permit for free!! Even a starter grocery pack. Brilliant flat, central for exploring beautiful Bath, sorry we only had 3 days! Great value, so much more freedom than renting a hotel room.
Thank you so much Brenda for making our first airbnb experience so exciting and easy. Kev & Steph.

  • Couldn't have asked for a better first experience with airbnb! Brenda was a delight to meet. She greeted us at the front door and showed us around. She was also available when ever we had questions. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The apartment is in a great location very convenient to explore the beautiful city of Bath.

It is also within reasonable walking distance of the Bath Spa train station and all of the city's highlights. But if you are like us and are traveling with heavy backpacks I would suggest taking a taxi from the train station to the apartment. Taxi only cost us 5 pounds.

Overall it was a great apartment, a great value, a great experience and so much better than renting a hotel room! We would highly recommend this apartment! 5 stars!

Hello there. I'm from London and I've been living in Bath for just over seven years with my children. I've traveled all over the world and enjoy meeting new people. I also like being the host and look forward to helping you out as much or as little as you need when you are in town. Take care and hope to hear from you.
