Just spent nine nights at this beautiful resort with my wife and two daughters. It is an exceptional beautiful property, with awesome views of the tropical gardens and rainforest. Lots and lots of wild animals all around - monkeys, birds, iguanas, butterflies etc...just to name a few. We enjoyed all the outdoor activities that the resort recommended for or family specially the Bird watching tour, Rafting in the Savegre River and of course the Zipline in Manuel Antonio. I have no words to describe this unique and very quite rainforest resort, that is away from the confusion of the most touristic areas but very near to every important site in the area of Manuel Antonio Nacional Park, Quepos, Dominical Beach for surfing and Uvita for the Whales and Dolphins Tours. There is one thing I must testify that for us was important, that is the total support the resort gave us to rent a car for excellent prices and the booking of all or activities highly recommend La Palapa Ecolodge Resort.
Really good experience. The manager was really nice and knowledgeable. Only little drawback is that it is a bit far from Quepos/Manuel Antonio and Dominical. That said, it is in a nature paradise and just a bit off the main road. Plus the size and quality of the bungalow is really good.
We had an absolutely delightful time at the Holiday Villa - La Palapa Eco Resort. We had our own bungalow with cooking facilities but mostly ate out or at La Palapa for breakfast and dinner. Our hosts were warm and friendly and most informative. They arranged a zip-line tour for us and helped with directions and any questions that we had. The bungalows are in the forest but it's just a short drive to towns and to the beaches and parks. The whole property is beautifully kept and most inviting and and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Beautiful resort with amazing food! Breakfast was included, which was a great way to start off our adventurous days. We had dinner at La Palapa one night, and we wish we would have eaten there more. It is incredibly close to Dominical and Manuel Antonio. We stayed in a Bungalow, which was incredibly spacious and more than enough room for two people. The fridge was stocked with sodas and Imperial, which was great after coming back from a long day at the beach or a nature hike.
