Welcome to our sunny spacious studio in Jerusalem.
This special home was built in 1886 and is part of our family history. Here you’ll have an authentic Jerusalem experience. Newly renovated, it has old-world charm (Jerusalem stone walls, arches and a high dome ceiling) with modern amenities like air conditioning/heating, wireless internet, and cable TV. You can sleep in a double bed or two single beds, according to your needs. You’ll have a new kitchenette, linens and towels provided and lots of storage space for your things.
The location is great, right in the heart of Jerusalem. Close the door and you can rest and relax. Open the door and you're in the middle of the city.
Turn to the left and it's a five minute walk to the city center (Ben Yehuda Street); continue a few minutes more and you'll see the walls of the Old City as you walk through Jaffa Gate or into the Mamilla Mall. Turn to the right and it's an eight minute walk to the central bus station. You're only a short walk from synagogues, museums, banks/ money change, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and so much more.
Walk up the street from the studio for less than a minute and you’re in the Mahane Yehuda Market with its fresh produce, restaurants, cafes, gift shops, and unique atmosphere. Every morning wake up and go get freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed juice or a cappuccino in minutes. Catch the new Light Rail train on Jaffa Road, and in minutes you’ll be at the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum, Mount Herzl or the Old City.

What a great place to stay in Jerusalem! The flat was easy to get to from the bus station and Robyn had given me excellent instructions. The flat is lovely, perfect to escape from thr heat and relax. Its perfect for the old town and the lively Mehane Yehuda market right across the road. Robyn provided all the info for practicalities and more than you would need.
Robyn provided us with clear details for our arrival, met us and took us to the apartment. When we were leaving she arranged for our shared taxi, which we were finding very difficult to do and she waited with us until it arrived.
She gave us great advice about getting to Bethlehem and told us about a gluten free shop that was very close which we hadn't found on-line before we left home.
The accommodation was just as listed, providing all that a couple needed. It was VERY close to the Mahane Yehuda Market, which was perfect for providing all food needed and places for drinks in the evening.
The tram passes across the end of the road for an easy journey to the Old City, but it is simple enough to walk there.
For me it was the second time in Robyn's studio. I enjoyed it again very much. The location opposite Mahane Yehuda and so close to the Old City is great. The contact with Robyn is fantastic and personal.
Always ready to give tips about places and how to arrive there.
Till next time!
Robyn and Eden were great hosts. Check-in was very smooth and easy and the studio was very clean comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was superb. It's across the street from Mahane Yehuda market and a stone's throw from the light rail stop. It's in walking distance of the Old City as well as the central bus station. The neighborhood wakes up fairly early and can be a bit noisy at times but that's the trade-off for the great central location in a lively part of town. Would definitely recommend.
Robyn and her husband have a very lovely apartment in a fantastic location near the market in Jerusalem. They were also both very warm and welcoming to us.
Simple no nonsense helpful and friendly in a complex religious and political part of the world
Wow! What can I say! The place was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Felt safe and had nice neighbors. Robyn was such a wonderful host, providing directions and ideas of places to go. And to be so close to the market where I could always fresh bread, cheese, fruit and more. Easy access to the train or you can just walk to the Old City. I will definitely recommend this place to many!
When I first came to Israel I received warm hospitality. I loved it here and eventually moved here (originally from Texas). I want to offer the same warm hospitality so you can create your own wonderful Jerusalem memories.
I haven't traveled as much as I would like but I have friends from all over the world and I love hearing about different cultures. One of my favorite trips was my honeymoon to Guatemala. I went to a rain forest for the first time and it was amazing.
