This special home was built in 1886 and is part of our family history. Here you’ll have an authentic Jerusalem experience. The location is great, right in the heart of Jerusalem. Close the door and you can rest and relax. Open the door and you're in the middle of the city.
Turn to the left and it's a five minute walk to the city center (Ben Yehuda Street); continue a few minutes more and you'll see the walls of the Old City as you walk through Jaffa Gate or into the Mamilla Mall. Turn to the right and it's an eight minute walk to the central bus station. You're only a short walk from synagogues, museums, banks/ money change, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and so much more.
Walk up the street from the studio for less than a minute and you’re in the Mahane Yehuda Market with its fresh produce, restaurants, cafes, gift shops, and unique atmosphere. Every morning wake up and go get freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed juice or a cappuccino in minutes. Catch the new Light Rail train on Jaffa Road, and in minutes you’ll be at the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum, Mount Herzl or the Old City.

The charming apartment is minutes away from the main market, and the tram provides quick travel to the Damascas Gate, Central Bus Station or Holocaust. Robyn made me feel very welcome
Robin and her husband Eden were great hosts!
Communication with them was easy and Eden gave us great tips about Jerusalem and how to find our way to go to the South to cross the border and get to see Petra in Jordan. The apartment was clean and cozy, just as in the description. I´d totally recommend Robin and Eden to my friends.
Robyn and her husband were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to help us during our stay at her place with any information, making telephone calls on our behalf, towels to use for taking to the dead sea for example.
The apartment is centrally located and just as described. We were able to take a 15-20 minute walk to the Old City of Jerusalem, and if tired after a full day walking could take a light rail to within 1 minute walk from the stop close to her place.
Great neighbourhood. Right next to the market, Mahane Yehuda, two stops from The busstation with the light train. About five stops from from The old city ( ca 6 mins).
The appartment is cozy and all is in order.
We would stay there again.
Our host was great and avaliable.
What a great place to stay in Jerusalem! The flat was easy to get to from the bus station and Robyn had given me excellent instructions. The flat is lovely, perfect to escape from thr heat and relax. Its perfect for the old town and the lively Mehane Yehuda market right across the road. Robyn provided all the info for practicalities and more than you would need.
Robyn provided us with clear details for our arrival, met us and took us to the apartment. When we were leaving she arranged for our shared taxi, which we were finding very difficult to do and she waited with us until it arrived.
She gave us great advice about getting to Bethlehem and told us about a gluten free shop that was very close which we hadn't found on-line before we left home.
The accommodation was just as listed, providing all that a couple needed. It was VERY close to the Mahane Yehuda Market, which was perfect for providing all food needed and places for drinks in the evening.
The tram passes across the end of the road for an easy journey to the Old City, but it is simple enough to walk there.
About the Host, Robyn
When I first came to Israel I received warm hospitality. I loved it here and eventually moved here (originally from Texas). I want to offer the same warm hospitality so you can create your own wonderful Jerusalem memories.
I haven't traveled as much as I would like but I have friends from all over the world and I love hearing about different cultures. One of my favorite trips was my honeymoon to Guatemala. I went to a rain forest for the first time and it was amazing.
