The apartment is a spacious' C'-shaped 1-bedroom with a fine kitchen and spacious bath with separate shower and washing machine. It is tastefully decorated with a mixture of Danish and international design classics, new furniture, and old curiosities.
There are both high-speed WiFi and all possible tv channels.
Before you enter the apartment, you can get an overview of the 400 m2 large roof terrace with tables and benches. This terrace is free for all residents to use. If you want to enjoy the fantastic views of Vesterbro to the other side, there is access from the apartment to the 15 m2 private terrace - complete with table, chairs, benches and a Weber Grill and herbs. A perfect location to enjoy the summer.
The apartment has one of Vesterbro absolute best locations right in the heart. There are just a few meters to grocery shopping in Super Brugsen, Netto and Istegades specialty shops, shopping in Kyoto or Invasion, delicious cocktails at Lidkoeb, Brass Monkey, Guns & Coke and Boutique Lize, classic Danish bar atmosphere at McKluuds and Riesen Bar, or grill in Enghaveparken.
Busses go right to the door via bus 3A at Enghavevej or 6A at Vesterbroggade, and Enghave Train station is just 3 bus stops away or 10 minutes on foot.
If you come by car, there's ample opportunity to use the large locked garage, which also has bicycle parking. There is a 10 DKR per hour fee for carparking. All levels of the building have elevator access.
There are always fresh sheets, towels, kitchen towels and so on for the guest(s) to use. Furthermore everything in the flat is at the guest(s) disposal - from tv, stereo and playstation to food and beverages, the washer and so on.
I can't always be there to hand over the keys, but I am never more than a call or text away and I can drop by most days at the guest(s) request =)
From the airport:
- with metro.
Take the metro to either Nørreport or Frederiksberg. Both places are a few miles from the flat and if you're not too burdened with luggage, I recommend walking =) From Nørreport you can also grab the bus 6A against Rødovre Hallen. A taxi from either Nørreport or Frederiksberg will probably be around 100 dkr.
- with train.
Grab the Regional Train to Copenhagen Central Station and either walk the final mile down Istedgade to the flat, grab bus number 10 against Brønshøj Torv and get off at Saxogade. Or just grab a cab at the price of 50 dkr. =)
You can chose to park in the streets around the flat (prices differ according to place and hour of parking). You can also park in the locked parking basement. It's 110 dkr. for 24 hours.
The apartment is really nice, smaller than how it seems on photos, but very cute with lots of interesting personal hints&objetcs. it is full of everything you need, from wifi, TV, DVDs, pans&pots, hairdryer....
the balcony is amazing and it laso has a weber BBQ grill.
super location, close to everything, just above a supermarket.
Kenneth is very helpfull and he listed very interesting spots on the Air B&B notes.
I booked Kenneth's apartment on behalf of an American guest teacher at our school in CPH. She loved the apartment and the central placing in the city. Kenneth was very helpful, welcoming and quick to respond to any questions she might have had.
We can highly recommend booking at Kenneth's place and will certainly be contacting him again in the future.
I rented Kenneths place for my boss visiting from the US and we can only recommend Kenneths place. Kenneth was very helpful and professional and his place have the perfect "at home" feeling and with a good location near restaurants and sights in Copenhagen.
We can only recommend his place and the AMAZING roof terrace!!
Kenneth's apartment is in a great location, an easy walk to the Central train station. The apartment was very clean and I enjoyed sitting on the terrace after exploring Copenhagen. There were several supermarkets within 100 metres, and lots of cool shops around the corner on Istedgade, there was a good local flea market on Vesterbrogade the Saturday I was there too. Kenneth left a list of recommended bars, restaurants etc that were nearby. I had a great week there.
The location of Kenneth's apartment is great for walking to lots of restaurants, bars, etc. It's just a 5 minute cab ride or a 15 minute walk to the central train station, Tivoli Gardens etc. The building has a lift that helps with carrying luggage up to the 5th floor! The apartment has nice views from the balcony out over the neighborhood and is a good size for two adults.
This was our first AirBnB stay and it worked out very well. It was different for us to stay in an apartment among the owner's clothes, food in the fridge, etc., but all of the basics were all covered and communication with Kenneth was fast and easy.
Great location in a great district, perfect for exploring the whole city.
Comfortable and clean apartment, with welcome private terrace.
Kenneth has the perfect place for exploring Copenhagen. Great location and super clean with an amazing private terrace. Thanks again!
The best thing about Kenneth's studio apartment is the location. Vesterbrogade is well connected through buses to the old city and other main sites of Copenhagen and its a 15 min walk from Central Station.
The apartment was smaller than what we had pictured in the images and its only suited for 2 ppl to occupy. We faced a few issues but we think its because Kenneth had to rush off on work and couldn't fix up the place before leaving. Kenneth is quick to respond and was always accessible for any assistance.
Recommended for 2-3 days in Copenhagen due the location.
Kenneth's place is very cool, very well located in a fine neibourhood from witch you can wall down to some awesome locations by foot or bike. He'll provide you a youthfull, tastefull and modern apartment, with a very nice private terrace.
All good... I just wich I could stay for more time.
We loved our trip - the city, Kenneths place and Västerbro! Kenneth was really flexible and such a nice guy! His apartment is amazing, the roof top terrace especially made our stay even more awesome than it was already! The area where Kenneths place is situated is great - really nice bars and restaurants to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also it is walking distance to the center and the train station - we also used the public transportation which was effortless from the apartment. Highly recommend!!
