Welcome... to my retro pad in world-famous Williamsburg, Brooklyn! Here's what I have in store for you and all your lodging needs...
One clean, mid-sized, quiet, private bedroom... newly renovated... high ceilings, hardwood floor, 1 large window. Room is furnished with a full-sized bed, desk, chair, dresser, night stand, shelving unit, and a bar for hanging clothes (closet space available, if needed). Fresh, clean towels and linens are provided. Air conditioning and heat are included.
The loft is unique, spacious, and comfortable... 1000 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms I built a while back... it's kept clean and uncluttered... the decor is vintage... mostly 50's and 60's with the center-piece being a swanky bar. Care for a martini? You shall have this thing you speak of.
The fully equipped kitchen is available to you... refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, juicer, and beyond. The bathroom is shared.
The building is safe and clean with an elevator and security cameras... and has an enormous roof-deck with incredible views of most of Manhattan (I have folding lounge chairs for all your roof excursions). There's laundry in the building (plus a 24 hour laundromat a block away). There's a gym in the basement (membership required... day passes available at $10/day)
Also... for your edification... the building is an old converted industrial building with finished lofts. Word on the street tells me the following:
1893... it was The I.S. Remson Manufacturing Company... "the largest carriage, harness, and horse goods emporium in the world" (there's just no good reason they would ever lie about a thing like that)
1908... The I.S. Remson Manufacturing Company (still into carriages, harness, horse goods)... also got into the car game... they were the Brooklyn dealership for a make called the Locomobile... the most expensive car in America at the time... they also had a garage/showroom over on Bedford.
1921... it was the Interstate Corrugated Box Company
1931... it was the Ainslie Knitting Machine Company
Location... location... location! The loft is a block and a half from the Grand St. stop on the "L" train... also close to the 3rd stop (Graham Ave.) which is just a few steps further away...either way the subway will get you to the East Village or Union Square in 10-15 minutes. Street parking is relatively easy.
The neighborhood is safe, friendly, and lively with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee shops, retail shops, and music venues. There's a 24-hr organic super market around the corner... there's a 24-hour deli on the corner.

Great place, great neighbourhood, and great host. Overall everything was as shown, the building was quiet and was in a trendy area with plenty of boutiques, bars and coffee shops. Pete himself was very accommodating but not overbearing, and respected my privacy. He also was able to give me some great personal advice after a night of debauchery, which was greatly appreciated ;) I'd gladly stay here again.
Good experience. Room and apartment were clean and comfortable. Building was safe and easily accessible. Pete was accommodating about everything that I asked. Great value.
Everything was fantastic and as promised. Pete is an amazing host who was always helpful and attentive without being overbearing or anything. The place is clean, the room bright and comfortable, and the common area accessible and pleasant. Pete's personal knowledge of New York, and Williamsburg in particular, made staying there a particular joy.

About the Host, Pete
I'm from New York. I like things and stuff.... usually more than slightly aged. I have my own booking agency... a lover, not a fighter... creative... I like being on stage, but I don't have to be. You should totally stay at my place... it'll make you feel good. And I'll help you find things. And I'll tell you you're pretty. Ask me anything else you'd like to know.
