I felt so cared for even though Nirmala wasn't home. They pre arranged others to welcome me and let me in and even organised for me to be driven to my destination the next morning. The house was great. Super comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone!
Nirmala was very friendly and accommodating! Wife and I enjoyed walking in the neighborhood.
Place was quiet and snacks w/ coffee in the morning was a huge plus!
Nirmala and her family were very welcoming and made me feel at home. They went well beyond what I expected to make my stay comfortable. Just one quick example: her husband very generously drove me to the airport on a rainy Sunday morning. I would definitely stay here again.
I needed to go to the bay area for a couple days w/ a 5:50am am flight back to denver. When i looked at rates for hotels mid week. Wow! $350 / night. Won't look good on expense report. I'd heard good things about Airbnb so i thought id give it a try. Nirmala and Sam were great hosts. Comfortable room. nice neighborhood. Got to the SFO car rental in less than 15 minutes
Stayed in the room 5 days - large and firm bed, stocked fridge, coffee and coffee maker, utensils, wi-fi, TV, hot shower, easy parking and location close to the airport and in the heart of the Peninsula. Perfect stay.
Nirmala and her family is always welcoming and a pleasure to stay with!
Friendly and convenient to the airport. Many thanks.
Nirmala and her family are excellent host. They treated me like a member of their family. The room provides complete privacy with separate entrance. I enjoyed the stay there.
Nirmala's room was very comfortable. I arrived late and left early, but slept well and was refreshed. Great location near the airport!
I have to say this basement room wasn't what I imagined, and quite downscale from the rest of the house pictures.
The carpet has multiple stains on it with utilitarian mats placed on top, the bathroom was missing a towel rack and the toilet had difficulty flushing; the closets were half full and disorganized; no face cloth to be found, the main door makes a very loud annoying sound when opened...
Overall the room felt overcrowded with furniture and clutter, and a bit dingy. Some of the furniture seen in the photo was not present - no slick desk, but rather a kitchen table too large for the space; and no bedside lamp! The only light was the overhead with a switch opposite to the bed. The breakfast was self-serve from a stocked fridge of what i would call junky packaged pastries. Not fresh food.
The bed, fortunately, was great - firm yet cozy! Since I just needed to crash for one night and catch an early flight, the room was tolerable. But I wouldn't stay there again.
Certainly Nirmala, Sam and the young son were all very very personal and friendly greeting me and sending me off the next morning, but the room is the most important part.
We appreciate your feedback.
Based on the feedback received from other guests, we upgraded the table in the room for multipurpose use. We will consider replacing with a smaller table. The desk lamp was accidentally taken out but is now back in the room.
All your suggestions are taken seriously and they are being fixed.
Thank you !
