Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Great place close to downtown. But more importantly Tonia is friendly, very accommodating, and a load of fun to be around. I highly recommend anyone that needs a place to stay in Raleigh. It's much better than any hotel in existence.

  • I had a great stay with Tonia - room is as described, in a nice leafy area, and was made to feel very welcome.

  • I was new to AirBnB and wasn't completely ready for the experience compared to other Home rental sites I have used. So know that it might take 48 hours for identification verification. So this will impede a quick spontaneous trip if you are a new AirBnB user. Once you understand that you might be staying with your host you have a much better appreciation for the security and the AirBnB process.

Overall I signed up for an Adventure and I got one. Staying with someone and having a rat-terrier/jack-russel mix to play far surpasses any hotel accommodations. The bedroom and bath were great and exactly what I was looking for. It was fun and great having someone to discuss the city while making sure your dollar directly to someone is a good feeling.

  • Tonia is awesome! Very easy going, honest, & fun to be around. She even showed me a couple good places to eat and go for drinks. Her place is clean with plenty of room. Also, has a large office desk to do any work you might have. Overall a great experience, I'd stay again if I was in the area.

  • Tonia was very accommodating and staying at her place was rather convenient.

    September 2012
  • Being my first Airbnb experience, I wasn't quite sure the process or what to expect. Tonia was quick to respond to my messages and was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process. Her apartment was great - very clean and comfortable and was close to the things we wanted to do in downtown Raleigh. She was a great host and I would highly recommend her place!

  • Tonia's apartment was the perfect "home" for our visit to Raleigh. It was spacious and neat and in a great location near all of the downtown Raleigh venues. Tonia was great at communicating before our stay so that we felt very comfortable prior to our arrival and during our stay. The apartment also had a great balcony and a convenient pool. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an inviting place to stay with a great host. Thanks Tonia!!

Enjoy music, art, food/drink, fun, outdoors, animals, travel - not necessarily in that order. ;-) Love to travel and not doing enough of it. Hoping AirBNB can change that. I work in technology but love getting away from it when I can. Horseback riding is a huge love I have that I don't do nearly enough.
