These are some of the most commonly asked questions, so please take the time to review them before requesting a stay.
Q: Is it close to public transit?
A: Extremely. If you are flying, take the MAX Red Line from the airport to Jeld-Wen field (just a few blocks from the apartment). Visit the Trimet website for more information, they have awesome trip planning tools.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Street parking is available. It is permit regulated, we provide the permit in the apartment. Simply display it in the rear window of your vehicle and you can park it on the street for a few hours or the length of your stay. You can always usually find parking within a couple blocks, but be mindful of hydrants, loading zones, etc.
Q: Are there walkable cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and bars?
A: This apartment is in the center of a very lively area. Please check out the map tab at the top of the listing for some of my recommended spots in the neighborhood. There are hundreds more though, so check out Yelp as well.

Nice apartment not too far from city center. All the directions for entering the building were straight forward and easy to follow.
Plusieurs bon restaurants a proximité. Nous n'avons pas rencontré notre hôte mais les indications pour récupérer les clés ont été fournis à temps et furent très claires. Bref nous recommandons l'appartement à tous.
This was my first experience using airbnb. Everything went very smoothly. Our host was communicative about the details of our trip on both the website and email with regard to what to expect and how to access the apartment. The apartment was so lovely, clean and had fabulous character! We were visiting friends in Portland and so we were out and about a great deal. The location was perfect for us - easy parking and close to our friends! Thank you SO much!
We loved the location of this cute little apartment. It was perfect for a couple nights in Portland in the middle of our epic Oregon Coast adventure! Brad was easy to deal with. Internet went out on us, and he had it going in a couple of hours. You must walk to Blue Star doughnuts for your morning fix. I am a healthy person, but couldn't resist the creme brulee doughnut, and they had great coffee! (just a couple blocks away). The Pearl was really great for walking around, and Whole Foods was a couple of blocks away for restocking our groceries for the next leg of the camping adventure.
The little apartment was cute and clean. There is a bit of a funny plastic-like mattress cover that crinkles when you roll around, but overall, the place was terrific! I'd stay again, and hope to be back soon:)
Well located beautifully furnished apartment with clean facilities. Only 5 mins walk to heart of pearl district, Powells books etc. Parking permit was great and we parked right outside the apartment.
We really enjoyed our stay in Portland. The flat was in a great location and we could pretty much just walk everywhere (well, we got the bus up to Mississipi avenue). Given that it is a studio it's actually pretty spacious and it's really nicely done throughout too.
Loved this place! It's as tastefully decorated as the photos show. It didn't feel like a studio unit at all. And it was very clean. It was also very convenient for getting around Portland. And Brad, the host, was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place.
About the Host, Brad
I am an Oregonian, born and raised. I am the proud father to one (tabby). I attend Portland State University and work in property management. When I'm not doing either of those things, I'm stuffing my face, drinking local beer and staying fit (lie). Portland is the perfect city for these vices, we get along just fine.
