PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
These are some of the most commonly asked questions, so please take the time to review them before requesting a stay.
Q: Is it close to public transit?
A: Extremely. If you are flying, take the MAX Red Line from the airport to Jeld-Wen field (just a few blocks from the apartment). Visit the Trimet website for more information, they have awesome trip planning tools.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Street parking is available. It is permit regulated, we provide the permit in the apartment. Simply display it in the rear window of your vehicle and you can park it on the street for a few hours or the length of your stay. You can always usually find parking within a couple blocks, but be mindful of hydrants, loading zones, etc.
Q: Are there walkable cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and bars?
A: This apartment is in the center of a very lively area. Please check out the map tab at the top of the listing for some of my recommended spots in the neighborhood. There are hundreds more though, so check out Yelp as well.

The apartment was very clean and bright, and Brad was super helpful! Everything was in order when we arrived, and check-in/out was easy. The bed is really comfortable and the shower looks like it has been updated recently. The apartment is close to the MAX train and walking distance to many popular areas in the Pearl. The only drawback would be the noise levels from the street (the 405 highway is very close by) and the upstairs neighbor (it sounds like they have hardwood floors as well).
Studio was visually charming - just as the pictures had shown.
However, the neighbor upstairs blasted loud music for hours at night, making it impossible to sleep. (We had to leave in the middle of the night as we couldn't take it any longer.)
Also, There is no air-conditioning and most of the windows don't work. Even though is was only about 70 degrees, the apartment was stuffy and we couldn't get any cross-ventilation to cool it down.
Brad was a gracious and responsive host. The apartment is nicely situated close to the Pearl district and downtown Portland. Brad left great instructions for the studio and also great restaurant and bar recommendations for the surrounding area. The apartment was the perfect size for our trip, and matches all the photos. Next time we go to Portland, we will definitely try to book this charming studio again.
Great location to see the sights and very comfortable! Will definitely be back!
Cool little studio, parking is a little hectic but the place is clean
The stay from start to finish was fantastic. The process was easy, the space was lovely, and the neighborhood was fantastic and centrally-located.
Lovely little studio apartment within walking distance of everything! Clean and convenient, a parking pass is provided if you're driving and WIFI was ready to go!
The only thing that was a bit discordant was the mattress covering under the sheet - it rustled with every shift of my body, as if I were sleeping on paper or plastic. I felt like the princess with the pea! Everything else was great and it was a great location for me to be based at.
Great location for exploring! We are still stuffed from all the great food. We walked everywhere and didn't feel like we missed out by leaving our car. Brad made check in easy and we much appreciated the laundry detergent and washer/dryer in unit since we had been traveling for a while. Thank you Brad for hosting!
Our stay at this studio was everything we expected and more. It was clean and organized when we arrived and perfectly suited our needs. We were able to walk to different parts of Portland and really got the opportunity to explore the city because of that. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to experience Portland - newbies like me or people returning!
Brad was very accommodating and in contact for anything we asked the whole time. Unfortunately for us the neighbors upstairs were incredibly loud and kept us up. Playing music with resonating bass and what I could only assume was intense cardio all night. The apartment itself was fine, windows didn't work well so if you're staying in the rare couple of weeks it is hot in Portland you might want to find a slightly more modern place.
