PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
These are some of the most commonly asked questions, so please take the time to review them before requesting a stay.
Q: Is it close to public transit?
A: Extremely. If you are flying, take the MAX Red Line from the airport to Jeld-Wen field (just a few blocks from the apartment). Visit the Trimet website for more information, they have awesome trip planning tools.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Street parking is available. It is permit regulated, we provide the permit in the apartment. Simply display it in the rear window of your vehicle and you can park it on the street for a few hours or the length of your stay. You can always usually find parking within a couple blocks, but be mindful of hydrants, loading zones, etc.
Q: Are there walkable cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and bars?
A: This apartment is in the center of a very lively area. Please check out the map tab at the top of the listing for some of my recommended spots in the neighborhood. There are hundreds more though, so check out Yelp as well.
Please be respectful of neighbors in the building and don't be loud, especially after 10PM. Pets are welcome, but please do not leave them unattended. Please treat it as if it were your own.
The apartment is in a great location. It was the perfect size for two people and we took advantage of the kitchen. Checking in/out was easy with the lockbox in front of the building. I'd definitely stay here again and can't recommend this place enough!
Very nice place! The location is perfect, the apartment was very clean and cute, lots of amenities, Brad was very accommodating and fast to reply to emails. It was our first time in Portland and I would highly recommend this place.
the apt. was like a tiny jewel box! adorable. A major problem became SLEEP. the first night the tenant directly above me was moving (funny how the management didn't realize, especially with that lovely chandelier swinging about. (explained in a text) (or know when a tenant is leaving ) Again the first night which was monday the tenant made a great deal of noise. i waited until 1:30-i kept hoping that the tenant perhaps had scored a giant sofa at IKEA! with a drill.boots and round containers rolling this way and that. Tuesday and weds day were 24/7. thursday was the only night i slept for 11 hours. Friday there was a party until 2:30 am. same floor as mine this time. kids really . i text, emailed and attempted calling but perhaps the managers were too busy. i was told "old buildings make strange noises"-yes they do. i left 11 days early. to sleep.
Brads place was immaculate, and his service was just as good. He had every base covered in terms of getting in and checking out and the amount of amenities he had was truly impressive. The condo was so cool! And in literally the perfect location. Our friends who live in Portland were even impressed by it. Hope to stay again. Thanks Brad
Great location! Never having been to Portland before, we didn't really know where a good area to stay would be but this was perfect! The apartment had everything we needed and then some. We loved that parking was easy and we were right next to the food scene. It was very clean and we liked that there was an elevator. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.
Brad was easily accessible, messaging me instructions through the app, and very accommodating. Even though check-in wasn't until 4:00PM, he messaged me at 11:00AM to stay that the cleaners had finished if I needed to check in early. Gorgeous studio in a hip, safe neighborhood. Part of the charming old school Empress complex. Chic bars, restaurants, and shops abound. Fabulous decor, comfortable bed, even a washer & dryer! Will definitely return on my next visit to PDX!
I am an Oregonian, born and raised. I am the proud father to one (tabby). I attend Portland State University and work in property management. When I'm not doing either of those things, I'm stuffing my face, drinking local beer and staying fit (lie). Portland is the perfect city for these vices, we get along just fine.
