During your stay

No 48 is a terrace house, in a typical row of ex mining cottages. The mines have long since gone but
the rows of houses are testimony to another era when coal was king and the welsh valleys were key sources of ' Black Gold' The house has been fully renovated with beautiful modern kitchen and bathroom and two good size double rooms, and two singles. It further benefits from a lounge and separate dining area, and a lovely south facing safe and private maintenance free garden area.
Caerphilly is so easy to access from both Newport and Cardiff and has amazing train and road links into Cardiff. The train literally takes 12 minutes arriving within yards of the Principality stadium at Cardiff Central Station.
Caerphilly is also steeped in history with the most beautiful 12 century castle, the oldest Moat & Bailey castle in Europe and boasting a leaning tower nor acute than Pisa's.
During the summer Caerphilly comes alive in July with the world famous Caerphilly's The Big Cheese festival with a vibrant fun fair and the castle opening up to all medieval activities.
