This was the perfect stop on our Grand Canyon roadtrip! An adorable little "mother-in-law" guest house off of the adobe casita, in a neat part of Albuquerque too. Lezle was a great host; helpful, flexible and kind! We also got to see a few nearby Breaking Bad sites which was neat.
The casita was easy to find, had great parking with easy access to the courtyard. Lezle is so nice, was super responsive and onsite to help out. We loved the casita with its traditional feel but modern conveniences. We had our dog with us and he loved the courtyard, which was secure. The neighbor cat did come by and was very friendly. Within walking distance to old town and was a nice neighborhood. Thank you!!
Fantastic accommodations, and Lezle is awesome! Would recommend to anyone staying the night in Albuquerque.
Cute little casita. It was clean and eclectic. It was the perfect one night stay in ABQ.
Lezle was a wonderful and accommodating host. This was a fantastic place to say in a great part of town. It was within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and even a park. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The house was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lezle provided a book of local recommendations and maps, she also made sure to let us know that she'd be available, should we have any questions. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and watching a movie from the large DVD selection. *We were actually booked and scheduled for 2 nights, but wound up needing accommodations for 3. Although the place was already booked, Lezle opened her own home and allowed us to rent her room. This was extremely nice and very helpful. Her home is beautiful and also clean. We were very pleased with our experience! :)
Great stay. Great home. Lezle was very friendly, accommodating and willing to give recommendations for things to do. Would absolutely stay with her again.
About the Host, Lezle
I am an artist from New Mexico. My interests are printmaking (mostly woodcuts and wood engravings) and remodeling houses. I mostly freelance and have a MA degree in non-toxic printmaking. My primary medium is woodcuts and I am also a book illustrator.
I love the open spaces, the mountains, and canyons of New Mexico - where one can live in a major city, but be in the wilderness within 1/2 hour. I can give you many tips of what to see and do.
I work part time for a wilderness expedition company: The Cottonwood Gulch Foundation.
My art studio website is currently being rebuilt, so is a bit barebones at the moment. It can be found under "Laughing Crow Studio" or Lezle Williams.
I have stayed at several airBNB homes both in the US and abroad. It is a great community and a great way to travel!
Thank you for your interest!
