Central Park is the heart of NYC and this apartment overlooks it! A safe neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and fantastic museums puts the best of the city at your fingertips. The apartment is classic, comfortable and fully equipped.
This beautiful studio on Central Park West provides a delightful and accessible oasis on the Upper West Side to explore magnificent Manhattan. Just steps from the subway and directly across from famous Central Park, the apartment is on the 6th floor of an elevator, pre-war building, with fresh flowers, on-site laundry and a doorman.
An antique chandelier graces the raised dinning nook, providing a wonderful place to sit and drink coffee over-looking the park. A full-sized, very comfortable "sleep-comfort" mattress (you can adjust the firmness) is fitted with 1,000-count sheets. The classic tiled bathroom has an extra-long tub and a strong shower. The petite kitchen has a natural cork floor and cherry counters plus all the necessary cooking utensils and an array of wine and champagne glasses and cocktail mixers.
High speed wi-fi, cable and a blue ray player (as well as a flat screen TV) are included. There is a comfy couch that pulls out into a full-sized bed too. There are laundry machines on the bottom floor of the building and a woman's bike available with the rental.
Within just a few blocks you'll find a Wholefoods and plenty of shopping not to mention lots of delicious restaurants offering everything from Indian to Mexican to French cuisine. The building is located in a very safe neighborhood that zings with the city's special energy but not the extra noise. Some favorite neighborhood spots: Smoke, a jazz super club; Cafe Soilel, an organic breakfast spot; Life in Motion yoga studio, and a really cool speakeasy called Orange 67. Walk directly across the park to explore the endless gems of the Met Museum or romp around the Guggenheim or the Natural History Museum just down Central Park.
New York is one of the world's great cities and this classic home is an elegant and comfortable base from which to enjoy its riches...
Card-operated washers and dryers on the ground floor of the building; woman's bike, mail box.

As much or as little as required and desired...
The Upper West Side is a haven in NYC--larger sidewalks, great restaurants and a bit quieter but close to all the museums....
Couldn't be more convenient--the C/B line is literally on the corner! Bike paths galore in the park. Lots of cabs too...
No smoking. No big parties. Condo laws must be abided (recycling, quiet hours, etc. you'll get the full download on a PDF).
This is a warm condo environment with friendly neighbors and a lovely feel for the building as a whole-- and I am very careful about the folks I let stay here. Please treat my home as your own and we will both be very happy!
Jules was great to deal with, very quick to respond and was available whenever needed. The info pack she put together explained everything I needed to know about the apartment and the local area which made getting settled really easy.
The apartment itself is fantastic! It felt like home right away. It was very clean and bright, it had everything you could need, and the bed was great. And it was so nice to look out over Central Park in the mornings while I ate breakfast! Also, the doormen and the other residents in the building were so incredibly nice. It was an unexpected extra which made my stay even better, I wish I lived in the building! Highly recommend staying here.
We spent 3 months in Jules’ apartment (September-November 2013). The apartment is in an amazing location in the Upper West Side, on the 6th floor of a “prewar” 7 story building overlooking Central Park across the street. Heart stopping view. There is a subway station discretely around the corner, which gives you access to virtually everywhere in Manhattan, and beyond.
Jules was a very good hostess, quickly responding to any of the issues that will invariably happen in a 3 month rental. She had the apartment re-cleaned at our arrival, which we soon learned was primarily the “Manhattan Dust”. She was visiting a sick relative, but with texting and email, she was virtually next door. This is a typical small NYC apartment, but very comfortable and convenient to everywhere.
This is a safe and very attractive and neighborhood. The upper 1/3 east and west side of Central Park is more rural in nature and less crowed than the lower 2/3. We were able to experience the lush summer leaves, transitioning to fall foliage, then to winter bareness. It is beautiful throughout the process, a lifetime memory.
You can imagine what a suite with a small kitchen in a hotel across the street and overlooking Central Park would cost per day.
The apartment is as shown in the pictures, attractive and comfortable, typical small Manhattan studio with a very small kitchen. The bed is extremely comfortable. The only thing that needs attention is the caulking above, below and around the bathtub. Jules acknowledged this, said it is on her to-do list, and plans to take care of it when the apartment is next vacant.
We hope to stay there again.
Jules was very nice, taking great concern of her guest. The studio was very charming with great location next to Central Park and the subway (email hidden) eat breakfast with the view of the trees in Central Park has never been so enjoyable before. You will have a good sleep in a very comfortable bed. I would absolutely ike to stay here again.
Jules was an excellent host, she even had a chilled bottle of Rose waiting for us when we arrived. It was always easy to get in touch with her with questions and such. The apartment is in a great location. It's right next to Central Park (literally right next to it) and the 103rd street subway station is just across the street.
We enjoyed our stay there very much and would without a doubt stay again.

I am a creative professional living in NYC for nearly 20 years. As much as I enjoy the city, I also want to see the world! When I'm home, I love to watch the leaves in Central Park budding bright green in Spring then orange and gold in Autumn. The sunrise and moonrise can be seen shimmering on the pond in the winter... I'll fill you in on all the cool bars and restaurants in the hood and I promise-- you'll love it here.
