A very clean and quaint apartment with fantastic view of the sea. It is artistically furnished with antique teak wood furniture and original beautiful paintings. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. 2 rooms have a queen sized bed and 1 other small room has one single bed. They are all air conditioned. The third bedroom will only be made available when there is a 5th person booking. However, if there is a need for the third bedroom due to the dynamics of the group, please message me before booking. The third bedroom is a small room with air con compressors fixed right outside the wall. It could get a little noisy. So, if you are a light sleeper, this room is not for you.

Good location! It is close by to the things you are looking for in Batu Ferringhi. Night market, supermarket, restaurants etc. Easy access.
Honestly speaking, the apartment is far away from the George town which is main spot in Penang. It is better to rent a car and pay RM10 for parking overnight. But I would say it is closed to the beach and night market that we can dine there and play parachute. There are many massage shop nearby that you can spent sometime at night.
The apartment look same as the real. There are three rooms and toilets in the apartment and good for our family. Liza is a good host and she came over to the apartment twice during our stay and brought our family hair dryer. She also recommend a durian plantation for our visit as well. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay in the apartment in Penang
My family of 4 enjoyed this property for 25 days in May of 2015.
The check in process for Liza and Jerry's property is painless. You get easy to understand directions to the property, and get the keys from a lock box that they give you the combination to. You can have as much, or little interaction with Liza and Jerry as you want.
There were a few constructive comments in previous posts that I wanted to address. The mattresses have all been recently changed out. They were perfect in all ways, we had no complaints with them what so ever. The small 3rd bedroom was perfect for our 12 year old. She loved the colors, and Liza's art work. It has its own AC unit so she was all set! The noise of the AC units did not bother her at all.
The pool was excellent. The water was not murky at all, and it actually got a lot of use by people of all ages. The security attendant was an exceptionally kind gentleman from Nepal who's family is still back home. He took great care of us.
The in house restaurant called The Violet House was reasonably priced, and the quality was excellent.
The food in Penang is just incredible. A few minutes walk away is the night market area, which also has maaany food vendors. Our favorite eatery became Andrew's Kampung which is on the 3rd floor of the large yellow building across from the PETRONAS gas station. All you can eat for a whopping 30 Rm, and the food was amazing. The waitress Eng was a total pleasure.
The only thing about the amazing food was that we often times missed the view of the sunset from the balcony which is on the lucky 13th floor!
We did have a few issues which Liza and Jerry took care of for us. The wifi is an old land line thru a phone line, but they purchased a hi speed cellphone unit that we averaged about 6 Mps service thru. The AC in the large 2nd bedroom crapped out, and Jerry spent about 3 hours after working all day straightening it out for us.
There were a few small maintenance items that were required, but I was able to remedy them myself very easily. The electrical outlets are pretty limited, so I purchased a few splitters to allow us to charge our electronic distractions. The Sat TV is pretty limited in the # of English channels, but there are several hundred DVD's to keep you busy.
We had a wonderful time in Lizas lovely apartment. It was very spacious and had a wonderful view. it was a real luxury to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Having a washing machine was also really great.
The apartment was in a great location handy to everything that we needed.
The swimming pool at the complex was very nice and well maintained.
We would highly recommend this apartment for a small family who wanted a realxing holiday.
The apartment was great and exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable and the building has a nice pool, shop and a cafe which serves great food. Liza responded promptly to my messages and was freely available during our stay.
Liza responded promptly to our emails. Good location, clean, nice view. Beds uncomfortable, no flat screen, noisy at night. Not recommended. Only person at a time can go online.
Jerry was there when we arrived, and he us gave us a run-down of the Batu Ferringhi neighbourhood. How to access the Beach, where to find shops and food, taxis and buses. Also he shared his experiences of being the permanent expat.
The Apartment was nicely situated high above the main road, with magnificent sea and jungle views.
We only used the kitchen for instant noodles, boiled water, and the fridge. Eating out is just as cheap and delicious.
Nice pool area with monkeys as an audience.
