Carol was a super host!!!! Her place was nice and clean, she gave us plenty of ideas of where to visit during out four days in Kansas City. She picked us up from the train station, showed us around town and then took us to the airport, all beyond the call of duty.
The Country Club Plaza are is lovely and very walkable from Carol's house. We took public transportation around. Would love to go back in the spring or fall, will definitely stay w carol again!!!
Carol's house is set in a really cute neighborhood in Kansas City. She was very hospitable, friendly, and the room was great. Her dog is also adorable.
We absolutely loved staying at Carols! Having lived in KC before I was super excited to be back and had a lot planned. While we didn't spend a lot of time visiting with Carol she made sure our stay was worthwhile. The room was perfect and gave us a great nights sleep. We are very grateful that Carol opens her home to fellow travelers. We will definitely stay with Carol and Biddy again! :)
We got into town super late, but Carol was very relaxed about our arrival time, and made the process very simple for us. The water glass/jug was a nice touch. Thanks, Carol :)
My girlfriend and I stayed with Carol on the final stretch of a long road trip and she was a wonderful host!! The room very super clean and comfortable, we had a private bath and the house was filled with character and cool photography. Her dog is so sweet! The coffee and breakfast snacks were wonderful to eat out on the porch and we had a great time chatting with Carol!! We would stay again in a heart beat!!
Cottage truly was cozy and comfortable as well as clean and tidy. Carol was very amicable and we would definitely stay here if we paced through Kansas City again.
Carol, our host, made us feel so incredibly welcome. This was such a great experience for my daughter and me - we LOVE Carol! My daughter, who is 3 1/2, is a demanding houseguest, and Carol was very sweet to her at every turn.
The home is in a lovely neighborhood, right off Country Club Plaza. The house is as described, charming and comfortable. The room that we rented was extremely comfortable and private, and our bathroom clean with a lovely bathtub and fixtures.
Carol provided coffee and a yummy breakfast in the mornings, and she was so kind and friendly to us. She has an adorable dog and cat. They are both very mellow, and were terrific with my daughter. Also, I am typically rather allergic to cats, but I had no problems with Carol's cat, no sneezing at all. The house is very tidy and the cat is primarily an outdoor cat, so that may explain why he was so hypoallergenic.
In sum, I would recommend this airbnb to anyone and everyone!
About the Host, Carol
I am semi-retired and have lived in Kansas City since 1976. Although I am a New Englander by birth, I have come to love this city - it is moving on, exciting and a great place to live.
We have a world class museum, a new Performing Arts Center that is second to none in the world, a wonderful entertainment venue whatever your option, the best BBQ, good jazz, great restaurants, beautiful neighborhoods - come and visit us. You will like us!
Proud to celebrate my 3rd anniversary as an AirBNB host. Have met some of the best people in the world. Looking forward to another exciting year!
