We only stayed in Kansas City for one night but we immediately fell in love with this city. Carol's place made it even better. She made our stay so comfortable and she was so welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and reconnecting with Carol.
Ms Carol was an absolute delight and was so hospitable in sharing her lovely home. An added bonus were her furry friends Biddy and Snickers! Will definitely stay here again while in KC and would recommend to any and all! Thank you Ms Carol!
Carol was great! We even discovered that we grew up in the same hometown. Carol does it right. Comfortable bed, linens and towels, TV in the room if you want it, house located on a quiet peaceful street and the sweetest dog i've met in a while! Carol thinks of the extras and was very accommodating, whatever we needed.
Staying at Carol's place was just a wonderful experience!
We couldn't have wished for a better host for our weekend in KC. Carol is an extraordinarily generous, warmhearted and respectful host. We enjoyed having breakfast with her while talking about all kinds of things. She was always happy to help and we loved hanging out with this intelligent and fun woman!
Carol lives in a calm and very beautiful neighborhood just a couple of blocks away from the Country Club Plaza. There are many shops, grocery stores, restaurants and museums close by. To go downtown it only takes 15 minutes by car. KC itself has a lot of things to offer. Definitely check out the World War 1 museum if you plan a visit. Downtown and the area around the Country Club Plaza are gorgeous and definitely worth a visit.
I loved staying with Carol in her cozy cottage! She made me feel welcome, right from the start. I enjoyed visiting with her so much, that I was sorry to see my time with her end! Her home is in a central location and is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I would love to stay with Carol again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kansas City!
I had a great time at Carol's Cottage. Her home was a very warm, cozy, and inviting place to stay and in a great neighborhood too. Carol was very thoughtful and had a pitcher of water available at bedtime and coffee in the AM. She offered great conversation and provided guest privacy as well. I would highly recommend staying at her place if visiting Kansas City, MO.
Carol was very welcoming to me and my husband during our short stay in KC. Her home is beautiful and we were provided a lovely room and our own bathroom. Carol was very helpful in providing tips and suggestions of things to do and places to eat within Kansas City (it was our first time visiting). We had a great trip and look forward to coming back again!
I am semi-retired and have lived in Kansas City since 1976. Although I am a New Englander by birth, I have come to love this city - it is moving on, exciting and a great place to live.
We have a world class museum, a new Performing Arts Center that is second to none in the world, a wonderful entertainment venue whatever your option, the best BBQ, good jazz, great restaurants, beautiful neighborhoods - come and visit us. You will like us!
