The location of the flat is very central and easy for the main piazza. The flat is nice, tidy and typical of italian decor. It is a little noisy at night but that goes with the central location. All in all very good
The location of this Palazzo is just wonderful! It took us one minute to walk down to Il Campo. This is not a private home, though, as there were a couple of rooms.
There were two lovely Italian ladies who let us in, though we had some problems understanding each other. Unfortunately there were no breakfast served. The room was nice and clean, with a bathroom shared with others.
An advice is that you've got to have plenty of time reaching this destination. It was hard for us to find a good and cheap parking place (we payed 2 € an hour throughout the night!) and it took a while to find where to go.
This is a very basic room in the heart of Siena.
It is essentially a small hotel with 3-4 other rooms. I never met the host. It appears a paid staff is on duty in the mornings and evenings.
Cons: bathroom is shared by everyone. Means one shower and toilet for up to ten people. Not so good. Cleanliness is borderline in the place but sheets were clean. I felt the photos really exaggerated the quality of the place. It didn't look that good to me.
A comfy room at a superb location in Siena! We had a great stay and Siena and got some good tips for local restaurants by the hosts. The only minor downside is that the room is next to the kitchen and can be noisy because of that. But it didn't affect our stay.
When we came to the house, two girls welcomed us. I think, Laura wasn't there when we were in Siena. The room was tidy and nice. The kitchen was not good equiped. There where just some plastikc-spoons. No knives and no forks. But there have been some glasses, instant coffee and a water boiler. Apart from that, the house is perfectly situated in the city center and if you don't want to eat something at the house, it's perfect for you :)
My room was big, clean and beautiful - everything was very thoughtfully arranged and the location could not be better for seeing the sights. The location is in the heart of the city's activity, so definitely bring some earplugs for sleeping just in case you turn in early. Another tip is to research where the small bus pick up spot is so that when you get off the first bus you know where to get the next one (different spot).
The location could not be more central, between Piazza des Campo and the Duomo. We could easily take some rest or drop by while visiting Siena. Victoria gave us helpful advice about restaurants and places to visit, and we had a great stay in this nice and comfortable room ! As we visited in February, it was very quiet but a bit dark, but I imagine it's the opposite in spring and summer.
