I live with my girlfriend in this 2 bedroom apartment and I rent the other bedroom giving the possibility to traveller(s) to have a nice accommodation at the same price as the hostels in Venice.
The kind of accommodation I offer is like a hotel. You will receive the keys, blankets, sheets and towels, what ever you need for a comfortable stay. I don't allow use of the kitchen because of some unpleasant experiences in the past, but you are welcome to use the microwave for ready made things or sometimes we will invite you to join us for dinner :) Breakfast is included.
The room has a double bed, but if you are travelling in two and are not comfortable sharing a bed we have a single cot that can be added to the room. This single bed could also be used in special cases if you are travelling in three.
(In this case the price changes accordingly).
Internet is available by wifi, and if you don't have your device there is a computer that you're able to use.
The apartment is located in Mestre and it is very well connected to Venice by bus.
The bus stop is 100 meters from the apartment and there is a bus to Venice every 15 minutes.
The bus ticket costs 1.3 euro (oneway) and it takes 20 minutes to arrive to Venice bus station.
As you can tell by our many reviews we enjoy hosting and meeting new people. Don't hesitate to ask us if you have any questions! Ciao! : )
I am a manager at the boutique hotel in Turkey and we get reviews from our guests and sometimes i get upset about some of the reviews because i think that they mention very small problems. That is why i didnt want to ruin my holiday with small issues and wanted to be fair on hosts. HOWEVER, this is the only host I have a negative review of. We stayed for 2 nights just few days ago. We had a holiday in Rome, Florence and Venezia for 10 nights and changed 3 accommodation during our stay. We booked all the private rooms through airbnb. We had small problems (missing of some stuff, heating etc) but overall Rome and Florence rooms were just perfect! Especially when I compare them with this room!! Fabio and his girlfriend firstly are not welcoming people. We didnt understand why they rent their room... Before we arrived, Fabio offered to pick us up from the train station which was very kind. He said that he will pick us with a ''small and black car''. When we arrived, it was heavily raining and there were many black and small cars outside. We had to look for him under the rain with our suitcases and couldnt find him, at least he could give us a model of his car etc. He didnt! We walked all the way to the house and we got all wet, and he was home. He said he looked for us at the train station but we didnt really believe him. It was my friend's birthday so i asked him if he could buy 2 slices of tiramisu and a candle a day before we arrived and he did which I really appreciated. Somehow we had a good start with them. HOWEVER, we went to Venezia for a carnival and of course we came back around 1 am at night. The problem was heating was not on and it was really cold, and our room didnt have a real door, just something like a door was added to the room. When you are opening and closing the door, it makes noise. When you go to the toilet (which you share with the owners) the toilet door is really very noisy. so hosts dont close their bedroom door and you just try to be quiet not to wake them up at night which gives you uncomfortability. When we arrived at night, there was a small light on and as soon as we arrived, owner woke up and switch off the light. My friend fell down when was going to toilet at night because of darkness. They left towels in the room but instead of a big towel just head towel they gave. When we woke up and went for a shower, the owners were sitting in the living room and the bathroom is just opposite of them. So, after a shower we had to get dressed in the bathroom because we didnt want to go...
We had a nice stay at Fabio's place. Him and his girlfriend are very friendly hosts, easy to talk with. They gave us all informations we needed to go around Venice.
The room was nice and clean.
The access to Venice from the appartment was also very easy, the bus stop is just in front of the appartment and it just takes 20 minute to go there.
It is a place I recommend !
I had a great stay at Fabio home. The room is very comfortable and nice ! Fabio and hers girlfriend are very nice to chat . give me a lots of information and a very nice chat. Besides the location is good, just few minutes walk to the bus station then can get into Venezia about 19 mins. Besides Fabio do pick me up at train station and prepare a very nice breakfast for me ! Highly recommended !
Fabio's place is very nice, comfortable and quiet. They also helped me call cab in the early morning..
very clean and quiet room.warm and nice
person.really nice place.
We stayed at Fabio's for two nights. The apartment is cozy and the hosts were nice to us. Breakfast was awesome!
The room was comfortable and large enough.
The house is well linked to Venice: the bus stop is right in front of their place and there's a bus about every 20 minutes.
Everything was clean in the house and privacy is guaranteed! :D
My experience at Fabio and Candice's was wonderful. Fabio picked me up by car from the Train station and gave me a a quick tour of the neighborhood. The flat itself was very clean and tidy and the room was very comfortable. Bus stop is literally down the street not even a 5 minute walk and will take you directly to Venice! Definitely recommend visiting Fabio & Candice next time you travel to Venice.
Easy to locate and a direct bus connection to Venice from Fabio's address makes it ideal place to stay. In addition, the place is neat and clean, and Fabio is a considerate host too.
Great value! Very clean and comfortable.
Thank you for sharing your apartment with us.
Assolutamente consigliato!
