This authentic log cabin is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. It is the perfect place for a relaxing and adventurous getaway for couples and families alike. If you are looking for the quintessential cabin in the woods, you've found it. We are close to Pike National Forest, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Deckers "Dream Stream", Florissant Fossil Beds, and more! Also - there is NO wifi and little to no cell service.

The space
- The cabin sits at +/- 8,500 feet elevation.
- The cabin is surrounded by national forest. The cabin has a main living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom and a loft. It has 2 deck spaces with seating to enjoy the space. The space is not ideal for small children as the decks/fireplaces are not childproofed.
- Absolutely NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES! The cabin is in an area that is designated high fire risk. Tossing cigarette butts is negligent and will not be tolerated whatsoever.

We are a father-daughter team that manages our Airbnb properties. I am Noel and my daughter's name is Tess. I have lived in Colorado for nearly 50 years with my wife and mother of my children and I am proud to call it home. In that time we owned a hotel in Cripple Creek, CO for ten years. I have worked as a firefighter for over 30 years and have been fire chief for the latter of that time. When we aren't working, my wife Denise and I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world.

My daughter Tess lives nearby and does a lot of the behind the scenes work. We are the dream team and thoroughly enjoy working together and sharing our homes with others. When she isn't working, you can find her hiking, climbing, mountain biking, camping, and doing just about anything outdoors.
