  • Great location for new travellers to Singapore. 7/11 at the ground floor for late night munchies, Waffletown for great fried chicken and of course the renowned Newton Hawker Centre. Within 10 minutes of Orchard Road and Little India, via public transport. Also a supermarket located across the road for self catering. The bed is comfy and the A/C was refreshing after a long day in the tropical sun. Apartment is immaculately clean. The room is a little small and does get a bit of road noise, which may bother light sleepers. I did fine with ear plugs.

  • The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The smallest room was quite tiny so would recommend if you just need a cheap place to crash or for shorter stays. When I upgraded and there was a double booking Jane provided a superior room at no additional cost. There is a reason this place has such a high overall rating, the service is second to none. It is also very clean. Don't listen to the one or two whingers on here, some people will never be happy.

  • It was a pleasant stay at this place in Bukit Timah. Ate Jane was very helpful during my entire trip. Thanks also for letting me borrow Mantu for couple of hours :)

  • Jane's place is in a really good location near the CBD. While the room itself is small the living room is spacious and there is a big clean kitchen that guests can use. Only downside is that there is just one bathroom to share between all guests, so there can be a bit of a queue in the mornings.

  • The appartment is part of Balmoral plaza which is very close to the city center. The flat was very nice especially the shared living room. It had plenty of space for all guests. Very strong wifi to all the flat. Jane is a very kind host willing to assist you with any questions you may have.
I rented a single room (next to the kitchen) for 2 nights, the price was very good if you consider how expensive Singapore is. However, the room was very small and I did not want to spend much time inside. I think that the other rooms were bigger and more comfortable.

  • The single room was small with no frills. I found it to be 'enough' as I was alone and basically just needed a place to sleep. The best part of the place was the host, Jane. Jane has been the most accommodating and helpful host. When she saw me waiting for the bathroom in the morning (I had to go to work) she offered to let me use her own bathroom, I though that was a sacrifice on her part and truly appreciated it. All in all, I think it was a good experience. Thanks, Jane!

  • It was great to be hosted by Jane and her Family. You get complete privacy, the rooms are in the conditions as stated, and the location is just perfect.

I would def. recommend this place.

  • Nice room that was great for a quick stay in Singapore. Jane gave very clear directions to find the place which made it easy to find. I would recommend Jane's place to anyone who needs a place to store their stuff for a quick trip in Singapore.

  • I stayed there for 9 nights. It was pretty much what I expected from the description. The host was considerate and helpful. The location is convenient to the MRT and the restaurants and 7-11 downstairs was nice to have. I'd stay there again sums it up.
