The Space

THE APARTMENT
Live in a 80 m2 apartment with a french balcony and a double bed in the most trendy neighborhood of Copenhagen called Vesterbro.

There is room for max 5 adults and 1 child.

The bedroom with a double bed is facing away from traffic and the furniture is typical Danish minimalistic style. It has a little balcony which faces a green backyard. It is wonderful to wake up to in the summer with the sound of birds. There is free wifi and cable tv.

The living room has a sleeping couch for 2 guests and if you are bringing a child there is a junior bed and toys.

I will provide linnen and towels.

LOCATION
The location is a deal if you want to explore Copenhagen. The streets around the apartment offers good restaurants, cosy cafes and fun boutiques.

Most major attractions are within walking and biking distance.

HOW TO GET HERE

  • Really nice & comfortable apartment! It takes only 10 min walk from the central station. There is 24h shop next to it, what i think is very convenient if you arrive late from the sightseeing:) Sara is also very nice person and is always ready to help. I will definitely recommend this apartment to my friends!

  • We were here for four nights and had a great time. The apartment was clean and cozy, the kitchen has all you need and the beds were quiet comfortable. There's only one thing one could mention and thats the very tiny bathroom directly next to the kitchen, but I think that's a problem of all flats in Copenhagen.
We never saw Sara but she always replied fast to our answers. Thanks for the nice stay in Copenhagen.

  • Nice flat, well situated near the center of Copenhagen.
However, it is a pity that it was dirty (oven, cupboard, etc.) Several equipments did not works (ex : flush). The flat did not correspond exactly with pictures and the flat was smaller than described on the website.
We communicated with Sara by phone at te beginning of our stay and she was friendly. Unfortunatly, she did not give us any news when we leaved...

  • Sara's apartment is well located but cramped inspite of the size. It gives you the feeling of intruding into a private home. The bathroom is literally coffin sized and the waterpipe gurggles next to your pillow . If you don't mind staying in a typically child's room i suppose it is OK . Though as host Sara seemed a nice warm person and her little boy is really cute, but if guests are to be accomodated in the apartment from time to time, some space should be created.

  • The appartment was exactly as we expected. It's an old appartment, and we found it clean, warm and confortable. It's in a place with all the services close, and at a walking distance to the downtown. We din't meet Sara at any time because she was not available, but we could communicate with her easyly by messages and we didn't have any problem.

  • Nice stay in Copenhagen.

    April 2013
  • We were staying at Sara‘s apartment in April 2013 for 9 nights and were really disappointed. The apartment seems to have changed quite a bit since she took the pictures (esp. the bedroom) and it was dirty. It had not been vacuum-cleaned or sweeped before our arrival, the rubbish bin hadn‘t been emptied and the fridge had also not been cleaned for a while. The sink in the tiny bathroom was cracked, clogged and smelled foul and the inside of the toilet was stained with old crusts. We were on the verge of calling the airbnb customer service and moving out.
Sara‘s art was bright and colorful though and we really appreciated that our son could play with her son‘s toys and that she placed her push chair at our disposal. The communication was quickly and friendly.
Nevertheless, we can‘t recommend the apartment, as it was not clean and not appropriate at all for the price we paid (81 Euro per night).

  • We had a great time in this apartment. We were with our 8 year old son and it was a good place for him to be as well. Good location, close to the center in an nice upcoming neighbourhood.
