  • We had the best time at the apartment - it is super convenient, cozy, with the breathtaking view from the windows, and it is right in the heart of Lisbon. So you just need to step out of the flat and adventures awaits you. The host is very helpful too. All in all - great experience!

  • I think the apartment and the location were great. It wasn't fancy; a walk up and yes there was a bit of a smell in the kitchen but nothing unexpected in an old building and nothing that opening the window didn't fix.. The apartment had everything and when we asked or host for more bedding it was there.
The court yard in front with the trolley car, small bar and water fountain is charming but you are still close to restaurants and bars.

  • The house is lovely and in a great position! Very good treatment and availability of the host. The house is very clean and functional, comfortable and with a nice view on the city, I strongly recommend it!

  • The location is really amazing, especially the view on three sides over the city. The flat itself is quite spacious for Lisboa standards. We stayed with 5 people and had no problems - the only downside perhaps being the small bathroom. But all in all it was great stay.

  • The house is perfect, right in the center of the city. Sergio is very helpful

  • Good, clean, centric

  • Great location, spacious apartment for two and building with lots of light and character (if you don't mind a very steep, creaky staircase), but unfortunately a few negatives: the apartment is generally run down and old: damp stains everywhere, peeling paint and old windows that are difficult to open and close. Not too clean either. The shower is minuscule, hardly any water pressure and the apartment is freezing cold in January. We had one radiator for the entire apartment when it really needs one in each room. There is no socket in the bathroom and no shower mat (but there is a note from the owners asking people not to leave towels on the floor and not to treat is as a hotel which makes no sense if you're not going to provide even a shower mat - this is basic). Really not a very welcoming, warm apartment away from home which is what we usually expect from an Airbnb. Felt more like a run-down hostel. Think we could have found something much better for the same price. Lastly, the entrance door to the building doesn't close properly or lock which doesn't make it very secure.

  • disappointment, the pictures in the profile are clearly when the aprtment was clean and fresh...when we arrived we found the apartment dusty and not clean. The apartment was very cold, and there was no heating, as in most places in lisbon. The shower was small and the drainage was wowrking less than optimal.

When we contact the host, we got remind about the rules of the apartment in capital letters, when we contact the host to inform them that our flight was delayed, the phone was off, and later it turned out that the host was on holiday and a delegate opened the door.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ BICA neighborhood in LISBON Lisbon's most photographed street is RUA DA BICA DUARTE BELO. It descends a hill from BAIRRO ALTO to the riverfront, and the streets that cross it form a charming residential neighborhood known as BICA, in ancient times connected to the river and is economic activities. That picturesque street is known for its funicular, the iconic ELEVADOR DA BICA that creaks up and down the hill as tourists snap photos. Framing the funicular are pastel-colored houses and the river in the distance, while many of the doors open as hip bars at night. Bica's FUNICULAR A strange vehicle, as if come out of the imagination of the novelist Jules Verne, with an amazing design circulates in the city of Lisbon. The original vehicle contained reservoirs of water that filled the highest point, and emptied at the lowest point, working in pairs, connected by a cable system, running by the difference of weights, the so called, FUNICULAR system. Conceived by Portuguese engineer, Raoul Mesnier du Ponsard, the funicular was installed in 1892. Due to its enormous historical importance, cultural and touristic, the elevator was classified National Heritage in February 2002. ME The funicular TRAM's of LISBON are the connection between all my apartments, all located along the rails, it is always possible to see one of them, either from a balcony a window or a entrance door!
