*** Exciting update! We've recently had a baby (December 5th 2012) and we'd like you to know ahead of time that there is a baby in the house. As every parent believes, he has the sweetest cry, so you won't be kept up all night with wailing...
In all seriousness, we've had family and guests stay downstairs since the little guy has come into the world and they've said they couldn't hear a thing. ***
Great neighborhood in Downtown Telluride - 2 minute walk away from Main Street. Two blocks away from the free Gondola and chair 8, 5 minute walk to chair 7. One block away from Aha School for the Arts and the San Miguel river.
New modern home, in floor heat, wifi, Ipod dock in your room, full bathroom with shower, and a dresser for your belongings.
Has a full bed with a built-in bunk above. In-room bathroom has a jacuzzi bath/shower. This bedroom is a touch bigger than the other one we offer and fits two people comfortably, three if two people sleep in the lower bunk and one above.
The room goes for between $95 - $205 depending on the time of year.
We're renting out our downstairs to allow people to come visit Telluride for an affordable price, with a unique experience. Over the past two years, we've had many people stay in our home and enjoyed their company.
We've taken the money we made on AirBnB and reinvested it back into our house - we're excited to say we purchased 13 off-site solar panels to fully power our home!
We own the local coffee shop called The Steaming Bean and we'd like to offer our guests a card for 50% off food and beverage purchases at the Bean! It's a 2 minute walk from the house on the west side of Main Street. The Bean is the locals coffee shop - we serve homemade Belgian Waffles, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, local granola bowls, smoothies, etc. All of our coffee is roasted just a few miles out of town, so it is fresh and delicious! Meghann also blends all the teas at the shop and would love to discuss tea with anyone who cares to!
Telluride is a great place to do all your favorite outdoor activities: ski/snowboard, nordic, hike, bike, via ferrata, eat great food, experience remote mountain living . . . but it is also a unique place with lots of character... and characters. We're of the belief that it is much more fun to explore a place living like a local. We're pretty busy people - raising a baby, running a coffee shop and a tech consulting business, but when we have time, we love to cook & host guests! So if you happen to land in our pad when we're not super busy, we might just cook you a full dinner and/or show you around town. Either way, we'll give you great options for things to do, places to go and eat, etc.

Fantastic place to stay if you're looking for a phenomenal location (2 blocks from the Gondola and a maximum of a few from bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store/market), and simple accommodations. The bedroom and bathroom were perfect for my younger brother and I, clean, crisp, and comfy. We look forward to staying again!!
Great stay! If you're looking for a comfy bedroom and nice bathroom, then look no further. Great people, great location, and great price!
Meghann and Brian are a very wonderful couple and we appreciate our stay there very much. We had a truly great time there and would come back right away. We were perfectly happy there. We also had definitely the best coffee and breakfast in town in their owned coffee shop "steaming bean" which made us survive our skiing days on the double black diamond slopes in Telluride ;) Hope to be back soon!
One of my best Airbnb stays. We had a great time staying with Bryan and Meghann and eating and drinking at the Steaming Bean. It was also a total bargain for Telluride! Thanks guys!
Brian and Meghann were great. They were readily available to meet with us to check in. Our room with neat and cozy... Shower/bath was spacious and clean. They gave us tips on places to eat before our concert. We enjoyed an excellent meal at a nearby restaurant "There." I would highly recommend staying with Brian and Meghann!
The Werners were very gracious hosts, and we had a wonderful time staying in their modern stylish home. We were there for a few days to ski and had other friends in town so we didn't get to see much of our hosts, but they were very easy to communicate with via text to arrange things and when we did see them they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, friendly without being too chatty. There is a baby in the house, an adorable one, if that's a problem for you, you should know it, it never was for us. And, after a hard day on the slopes that jacuzzi bathtub is a lifesaver. Extra points for the "loo with a view", if you stay here, you'll know. Thanks for the great stay, see you next time.
Brian and Meghann were great hosts! We loved getting to know their slice of Telluride with recommendations and spending time at the Steamed Bean. The place was conveniently located to the gondola and to town, which was a plus. We'd love to stay there again!
Awesome place with easy access to everything that's happening in town. Quick walk to trail heads and the gondola, too. Brian and Meghann were super friendly and easy to get a hold of. We took advantage of the discount at the Steaming Bean — delicious breakfast and coffee. The basement room was cozy and clean. Laundry room right next to the bedroom was perfect for nearing the end of a road trip. The shower was fantastic - great water pressure! :) Will definitely stay with these two again the next time we're in Telluride!
Brad and Meghann are a super nice couple and their baby is really sweet too. The house is situated right in town. We never used our car once. Our room in the basement is totally private and comfortable. Not too big, but I dodn't go there to stay in my room. The bunk bed is a little scary to climb into, especially after a long sore hike, but there are two bedrooms down there and we loved it. Would definitely do this again!
Our stay with Brian couldn't have been better.
It's a great location, both quiet and private while still being close to all your main street needs.
It was the perfect location for our stay during the film festival, every theater is within a 7 minute walk.
Brian and Meghann were terrific hosts, personable and inviting. Check out their coffee spot the Steaming Bean!
