The space

Located in the heart of Saint Germain in one of the oldest streets of Paris, La Rue Visconti has, since 1540, shared parts of the lifes of several famous Parisian characters such as Honoré de Balzac, Eugène Delacroix, Voltaire, André Gide and many more...

Former artist's studio, the flat is very bright and has retained, with its exposed beams, the charm of Parisian buildings of the time.

Completely redone, its 269ft² can accommodate up to a couple, with a fitted kitchen and shower room.

In the middle of the neighborhood of art galleries, you can just as well have a coffee at the Deux Magots or Café de Flore, that cross the Pont des Arts to stroll around the courtyard of the Louvre.

The 6th district is very lively and full of cafes, restaurants, bars and small shops. The nearby rue de Buci with its market is a popular place for both tourists and locals alike.

Alexandre - thank you so much for your wonderful home. We absolutely loved our stay, your recommendations and the location could not have been better! Have absolutely no hesitation recommending this place to anybody looking for a cute place to stay in a central spot. Only reason I wouldn't stay here: If I couldn't walk up multiple sets of stairs or if I needed a proper bed (the futon was great though).

Alexandre's place was an amazing find. In the gallery district of Paris, there is so much nearby to enjoy but at night the area is so surprisingly quiet! The building (and the street) has so much history, and it is so close to everything. It is a small place but it has been excellently fitted out, you won't want for anything. Best of all Alexandre was so fantastic and gave us some brilliant recommendations for places to go and things to do during our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for your trip to Paris. Thank you Alexandre!

Alexandre was more than nice!! So helpful. The location is perfect. The flat is really neat, however very small, and if you are not traveling alone it has a hard sleeping condition.

J'aime la musique sous toutes ses formes, le cinéma et l'immobilier.

Villes: New York, London, Athènes, Munich

Livres: Bret Easton Ellis, Balzac, Jules Vernes, Baudelaire, Rimbaud

Restaurants: La Closerie des Lilas, Rousseau, Joe Allen

Films: Old Boy, Blade Runner, Pulp Fiction, The Game, La vie des autres.
