Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet, das Badezimmer sehr neu und modern. Nur wenige Minuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Und Becky ist eine sehr freundliche Person. Highly recommended! The room is nice, the bathroom is very new and modern. And Becky is a very kind person.
If you`re into grime and cold showers, you have found your Valhalla. If you don`t care for privacy in the bathroom, then you should book an extra night. This cozy cabin comes with a layer of dust at no extra charge and you don`t have to worry about a pesky key - the front door is always open (unless another guest locks it and you can`t get in at 10pm). If things do go wrong, though, you`re in for a fun surprise - when you call Becky you`ll hear the landline ring in the house. The beds are comfortable, though you would be much better served spending your $80 on a bed and breakfast.
With construction (reconstructing the old bathroom) was going on while I was away for an international trip, I didn't realize that the carpenters didn't shut the doors while they were working in the bathroom. (therefore the dust in the bedroom) Also when Christian contacted me by email about the shower, he said it was cold water instead of warm, which it was. That confusion led us to believe that he didn't wait long enough for the hot water to come up from the basement. If he had said the water was warm, not hot, my carpenter would have known to readjust the shower temperature in the new shower and not look at other factors. I am sorry that these things happened. It was I one time occurrence, because I was not present to oversee their stay.
We spent just one night in Conway and had no idea how big and popular it is. This is why we were extremely happy to stay at Becky's place which is a little off the main road, quiet and a very welcoming place. Becky was a lovely host and we enjoyed talking to her and getting her advice on the greater Conway region!
Becky was very welcoming, and her house is in a perfect location for skiing. Her food recommendations were awesome.
Becky was absolutely lovely and great host! Very understanding and easy to contact, too, as our arrival kept getting later. She has a beautiful passion for the outdoors and has plenty of advice for good hiking trails and things to do in the area. We definitely plan to return on our future visits to the White Mountains!
The room is cozy and clean. The house is well and centrally situated in Conway; visiting any of the notches or ranges, or neighboring towns, is easy. Her home is very pleasant to stay in.
We stayed 2 nights at Becky's house at the foothills of the White Mountains. She was very inviting and sweet, providing us with everything we needed. Our stay mostly consisted of sleeping as we hiked Mt Washington and were thoroughly worn out afterwards. All in all a great place to stay and we might even be back for some summer camping in her huge "backyard."
We loved staying with Becky. The house was charming, the room was clean, and she was very welcoming. There was a family staying in the other room but that didn't affect our experience – we all went to dinner together and had some really great conversations, and Becky had coffee ready the next morning. I highly recommend spending the night here!
