Lovely home, thanks Becky! The bed was comfortable and it's a great location for the White Mountains. Hope to return soon!
Becky quickly made us feel at home; we liked her hospitality. She was interested and we had very lovely conversations with her. She was helpfull and advised us in doing things in the neighbourhood.
Becky was a friendly host. She has a wonderful older house with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Becky was great to chat with and recommended an awesome hike. I would gladly stay here again.
Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet, das Badezimmer sehr neu und modern. Nur wenige Minuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Und Becky ist eine sehr freundliche Person. Highly recommended! The room is nice, the bathroom is very new and modern. And Becky is a very kind person.
If you`re into grime and cold showers, you have found your Valhalla. If you don`t care for privacy in the bathroom, then you should book an extra night. This cozy cabin comes with a layer of dust at no extra charge and you don`t have to worry about a pesky key - the front door is always open (unless another guest locks it and you can`t get in at 10pm). If things do go wrong, though, you`re in for a fun surprise - when you call Becky you`ll hear the landline ring in the house. The beds are comfortable, though you would be much better served spending your $80 on a bed and breakfast.
With construction (reconstructing the old bathroom) was going on while I was away for an international trip, I didn't realize that the carpenters didn't shut the doors while they were working in the bathroom. (therefore the dust in the bedroom) Also when Christian contacted me by email about the shower, he said it was cold water instead of warm, which it was. That confusion led us to believe that he didn't wait long enough for the hot water to come up from the basement. If he had said the water was warm, not hot, my carpenter would have known to readjust the shower temperature in the new shower and not look at other factors. I am sorry that these things happened. It was I one time occurrence, because I was not present to oversee their stay.
We spent just one night in Conway and had no idea how big and popular it is. This is why we were extremely happy to stay at Becky's place which is a little off the main road, quiet and a very welcoming place. Becky was a lovely host and we enjoyed talking to her and getting her advice on the greater Conway region!
Becky was very welcoming, and her house is in a perfect location for skiing. Her food recommendations were awesome.
