One of our 3 cute Caribbean-style bungalows/studios in a large, enchanting tropical garden filled with palm trees, tropical fruit & rainforest vegetation. You're welcome to roam around the garden, relax, practice yoga or pick fruit. Nature lovers will love this place!
Only a few minutes drive from the center of the town and beaches, but yet in a peaceful garden, away from the crowds and busy traffic. Nearby beaches Playa Bonita & Coson are often listed among the best ones in the whole Caribbean!

The space
Mango bungalow is located in "Tropical Garden Las Terrenas" property, which hosts a main house (where we live with our young daughters), and 2 more rental bungalows/studios. Our unique tropical garden is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, near Playa Bonita beach. The property is fenced.

It is an independent studio equipped with kitchen, private bathroom (with hot water), porch with a table to eat or work, hammock and outdoor shower. Our house and other bungalows/studios for rent are around 40 meters from the bungalow, so you will have full privacy.
Feel free to walk around the garden and enjoy a common picnic area with a barbecue or a little water pond/bath (not really a swimming pool but surely enough to refresh) with a shady chill-out area.
You will share the garden with us and possibly other guests, but it is really huge and you will have more than enough space for yourselves. You may see our two friendly dogs and hens roaming around the property as well.

Guest access
Our place is situated in a quiet side street, with almost no traffic (which is very important in Las Terrenas!). Safe and quiet neighborhood. The main street has a local supermarket just 3 minutes away by walking and other "colmados" (mini shops) and fruit stands are nearby. There are a few comedores (Dominican inexpensive family restaurants) 10 minutes walking.

We have a free, private parking lot for our guests inside our property, if you have a car or a scooter to move around.
If you don't have your own vehicle is very easy, fast and cheap to move around by moto taxis from the main street.

The nearest beach (Playa Bonita) and its restaurants are 2km (1,3 mile) away - 5 minutes by car/scooter, 7 minutes by bike or 20 minutes walking.
Town center, supermarkets and other beaches (Ballenas, Popy, Coson) are 10 minutes by car or scooter.

Other things to note
The property is surf and bike friendly - you can store your surf or bike in our garage/surf shack, and we have outdoor shower/hose. Nearby surf spots (Bonita, Coson) are reachable in just a few minutes.

If you like practicing yoga or any other exercise this is a great place.

We provide free drinking water and fast WiFi
Our property is eco-friendly - most of our electricity comes from solar panels, we have our own source of water and we collect plastic bottles for recycling.

Our property is located in a quiet part of Las Terrenas, near Playa Bonita and its restaurants and Coson beaches. Very quiet and safe neighborhood, surrounded by nature. Great location for exploring Samana Peninsula as it has easy and fast access to all major roads.
