Wonderful clean suite, with large outdoor terrace, new and high quality furnishings, independant entrance, within walking distance of all sites in the centro histórico, close to supermarkets, local markets, shopping malls, arts markets and more.

The Space

Located on a low-traffic street in the historic center of Puebla. Very clean, newly-remodelled room with independant entrance from the house and large outdoor terrace.

High quality furnishings include: king-size bed; nightstands; TV with subscription channels and pay-per-view programming available for extra purchase; private bathroom; kitchenette with bar, small fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, blender, dishes and silverware. The kitchenette does not have a stove or hot plate for cooking.

The suite has a private bathroom with plenty of hot water 24/7.

UNESCO has catalogued over 2600 buildings of historical significance in the city center, all within walking distance from the house. It's fascinating to take the long way between tourist destinations, letting your eyes and your nose guide you.

On site, we also offer Spanish language classes at our small language school, traditional home-cooking classes, city tours, excursions, and other cultural activities. If you are interested in anything else, just let us know.

Guest Access

WiFi, subscription TV, private entrance to the guest suite, green spaces surrounding the house.

Interaction with Guests

On a daily basis. my wife and I live on site.

The Neighborhood

The perfect location is walking distance to any site in the centro histórico, just 9 blocks straight south of the zócalo, yet located on a "privada" (non-continuing) street, which means less car and pedestrian traffic (general noise); the best of both worlds.

Getting around

Everything in the center of town is within walking distance. For things outside of the centro histórico, there are many taxis and buses that will whisk you away to any other site in Puebla.

  • We had a great experience staying with Scott, despite a minor issue getting in touch with him upon arrival. The suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and Scott provided helpful suggestions about Puebla. His house is located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood within walking distance of the Zócalo. Highly recommended.

  • Scott's place was great! Perfect distance from the center of town, clean and had everything we needed. Scott and Maru are friendly and helpful hosts. We'd recommend to anyone spending time in Puebla.

  • I landed in Puebla after a very long flight from Asia and was jet lagged and slightly sick. The moment I arrived at Scott's I felt at home. The apartment is very comfortable and safe. Scott lives and works in the same building so he around for any questions. The area is perfect with a small mercado close by and a store just around the corner. The Zocolo is not too far away and on the way there are are bakeries and other eateries. I stayed for 2 weeks and loved every day of it. Thank you Scott!

  • My stay in Scott's apartment was delightful! The room was very nice and super, super clean. The kitchenette was great to have so I didn't have to eat every meal out. Also, Scott was fun, professional and helpful. He is very knowledgable of both the layout and the history of the area and was able to answer all of my questions. I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Puebla!

  • Scott's location and hospitality were wonderful. We enjoyed being a short walk to the historic center, as well as the quiet and pleasant residential street. We made coffee and brought in bread from the bakery for a relaxing breakfast on the balcony. Ellen

  • Scott and his wife Maru are not only great airbnb hosts but also great people. The studio is large, clean, quite and offers close street parking. It's about a 12 minute walk to the Zocolo with plenty to see on the way.

I rolled into Puebla with a newly dented fender and a lost ATM card. Scott and Maru were very helpful in helping me resolve these issues. They went above and beyond and I will never forget their hospitality and kindness.

If you are going to Puebla I cannot recommend their Studio highly enough and I look forward to staying with them again!

  • Not much else to add to previous reviews as all comments reflect our experience. Close proximity to whatever you could wish for on a quiet residential street. Very comfy bed, very private, and wonderful hosts.

  • Scott is a terrific host -- very communicative and eager to help us navigate the lovely city of Puebla. His AIRBNB is ideally located -- a few short blocks up 16 de Septiembre leads to some of the best restaurants and street food eateries in the City, as well as to the main Zocalo and Catedral. Don't worry about safety or leaving your car on the street; the Police Station is at the corner. The space itself is comfortable with a king size bed and efficient kitchenette. The outdoor patio gives you additional hang-out space, though expect the sun to beat down on you. Thanks so much!

  • Scott was a wonderful host. He gave us great directions and recommendations for exploring the tasty treats Puebla has to offer. The apartment is located near the best place to get Cemitas and only a few blocks from the Zócalo. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend staying there.
