  • We had a fun time in the RV! Veronica is very helpful and helped us out whenever we had a question.

  • Quaint little RV, comfortable bed, and cool enough during the day to nap in.

Veronica was very helpful relocating it to a location that suited my needs.

I was unable to get the power outlets working, and the water tank was not recharged when I rented it. So two days with no power or water.

Fun experience, but I would definitely not do this longer than 2 days.

  • We had good fun in the RV. As we were going off the grid for a few days there were a few issues that Veronica made an effort to resolve. The RV has some quirks, and is not the most modern thing you've been in, but that's part of its character! Thanks Veronica!

  • The van is a cool little retro thing and was parked in the perfect spot for us - the Mission District in the heart of San Francisco. It was a little pricey considering the basic conditions, but we knew that before we booked and were grateful to be in such a great spot.

We had a few problems with some of the van's facilities but Veronica made every effort to get them resolved for us.

  • Veronica was awesome! Great with communication and worked with us on arrival time as well as the location she parked the RV. She always answered her phone and was happy to answer all our questions. Also, she found an awesome spot to park the RV on the edge of Golden Gate park across the street from the ocean and it was very convenient for our trip! The RV is pretty small and the only downside was that the beds are sort of make shift and a little uncomfortable! But overall great experience! Thanks Veronica

  • Overall this experience was positive! Veronica is really responsive to your needs, parked us in a good location, responded promptly to questions and explained how to use amenities really well. The van has everything from blankets to towels and plates and cups so that's very helpful. Would not recommend RV for more than 2 people unless you have a lot of patience because it is quite small but that's obvious when it comes to a motorhome. But if you are looking for a cheaper/unique alternative to a hotel or hostel then I would defiantly recommend this RV.

  • I had a bad experience renting this RV. I was looking for an RV for traveling with my kids and I shared my plans with Veronica before renting it. The description clearly stated that it accommodates four. Veronica didn't mention that it maybe accommodates four but it rides only two and this wasn't mentioned in the description. When I disputed it, Veronica suggested traveling outside proper seats and without seat belts.

The upper deck flap broke as soon as I opened it. It was recently home made and very dangerous - the wood was cracked by several screws mounted all in the same growth ring. I was only glad that nobody got hurt. When I explained this incident to Veronica then she charged me for the wood, work and mounting. She accepted that breaking the improperly built flap wasn't our fault so she waived the fee for the mounting but she insisted on paying the rest.

I asked Veronica if I may return the car early in the morning instead of in the night as we were running late. She didn't reply and later she charged me for an extra day and also for a late return. So she charged two different fees for the same thing. She waived one fee as a compensation for the unclear information about vehicle but she insisted on paying the second.

We didn't have fun renting this RV and I would recommend something more professional.

    Response from Veronica:

I had a bad experience renting this RV. REALLY? BUT YOU EMAILED THAT YOU HAD FUN.
I was …traveling with my kids and I shared my plans… TRUE. NOTE: JAKUB REQUESTED SAME DAY SATURDAY BOOKING IN MID- TO LATE-AFTERNOON.
… accommodates four but it rides only two... CLEAR IN PHOTOS. STANDARD FOR RV’S.
When I disputed it,…suggested traveling outside proper seats and without seat belts. OOPS, MUST NOT BE A PARENT. SORRY. BASED ON OTHER SIMILAR RECENT REQUESTS, I AM INSTALLING ADDITIONAL SEAT-BELTS. THANKS.
The upper deck flap … was cracked ... DUDE, YOU BROKE MY FOOT REST. IT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO SUPPORT WEIGHT. COMMUNCATION WOULD HAVE CLARIFIED.
I was only glad that nobody got hurt. ME TOO.
When I explained this incident to Veronica then she charged me for the wood, work and mounting. CLARIFICATION: WHEN I FOUND IT BROKEN, I CHARGED YOU. TWO DAYS AFTER CHECK-OUT WHEN YOU REPORTED HOW IT HAPPENED, I WAIVED IT.
She accepted that breaking the improperly built flap wasn't our fault so she waived the fee for the mounting but she insisted on paying the rest. TRUE.
I asked …may return the car early in the morning instead of in the night ... She didn't reply … charged me for an extra day and … a late return. CHECK-OUT WAS 5PM. JAKUB EMAILED AT 9PM. I READ MY EMAIL AT 11PM (WHY WAS I EVEN AWAKE? :) ). CLEARLY, JAKUB SHOULD HAVE PHONED.
So she charged two different fees for the same thing. CLARIFICATION: 1.) AFTER 5PM LATE, 2.) RETURNED NEXT DAY. TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
She waived one fee …for the unclear information … but she insisted on paying the second. IT IS MY PLEASURE TO EXTEND COURTESY AND GOODWILL. NOTE: JAKUB NEVER PAID!
We didn't have fun renting this RV and I would recommend something more professional. REALLY? YOU EMAILED THAT YOU HAD FUN. JAKUB NEEDS TO PLAN AHEAD IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR A MORE PROFESSIONAL RENTER THAT WILL NOT CHARGE HIM FOR 1.)BREAKING THINGS, 2.)RETURNING LATE, AND 3.)TAKING AN EXTRA DAY.
JAKUB, I HOPE WE CAN PUT THIS UNFORTUNATE INTERCHANGE BEHIND US. I WISH YOU THE BEST AND HOPE THAT WE COULD BE FRIENDS SOME DAY. SINCERELY, VERONICA

  • Such a nice person!, from the beginning to the end!..very patient with us because it was the first time we rent on Airbnb. The RV awesome experience very well maintained interior, with everything you need for an adventure. When we drop the RV off, she gave us a ride where the taxis were and the next day she called us because we left some things in the RV, and she sent them with Fedex, who do that? :) Highly recommend this trip. Thanks Veronica for everything

  • I had a great time in Veronica's camper van named Gus! She really does have everything you need for your trip, including an AC (3-prong) charger adapter for electronics requiring such. The van is amazing, hot water heater a dream (hot showers while camping...what?) and, best of all, when I had questions about the details of different features and how they worked, Veronica was readily available by phone to answer them all. I will definitely consider renting the van again and will tell my friends to do the same!

  • I loved using this Compact RV. I was so excited when Veronica got back to me with the confirmation. I had a trip planned to visit friends and stay with them but there was some last minute changes and the spare room was unavailable. So, I looked up several possible places to stay at on airbnb and Veronica was the first to respond and thought, this might be interesting. After some driving around and getting a little lost in SF (none of it Veronica's fault I just didn't know how to use airbnb that well since it was my first time renting here and didn't get the whole address or directions from airbnb's auto texting). So I finally got to the RV, took some getting used to but I got it to my friends place, parked across the street and had a place to sleep and not a bad price either. We then drove it to SOMA and parked there near another friends place and spent the night there. It was actually fun! We ordered pizza and had dinner in the RV before going out to a movie, went out some more after that and it was all very close to where we parked. No taxis, no busses, no bart, no problems.
Only thing was with the signal lights didn't work but it didn't really bother me since I didn't drive anywhere far or during the day when it was too busy. I told Veronica about it and she didn't know there was a problem but assured me that it was gonna be taken care of.

Veronica was AWESOME at getting back to me and finding the RV and returning my texts messages and calls. I brought my own towles, blankets, sheets, but I didn't need them, the RV is well stocked with all that stuff. I will definitely use this RV again but maybe this time actually use it in an RV park or go camping.
